Pierre Strong Jr. Rushes for 89 Yards in Preseason Win
Pierre Strong Jr. carried the ball 13 times for 89 yards and caught four of his five targets for 10 yards in a 22-13 preseason win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday. With Jerome Ford inactive, Strong got the start and led the team in rushing in the game. He made a good impression as he averaged 6.8 yards per carry, including a 54-yard run that he ripped off early in the fourth quarter. Strong is fighting for a depth role behind Ford and Dylan Sampson as the Browns near their preseason finale against the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday.
