Welcome Back, RotoBallers! Major League Baseball is fired up for another work week, starting with an exciting Monday night of action from the diamonds. Four games start just before 7:00 p.m. ET on the early slate, and nine games are on the main slate on DraftKings and FanDuel, which starts at 7:10 p.m. ET.
The nine games on the main slate have a wide variety of matchups, including two divisional games, two interleague games, and some potentially very important matchups in both leagues' Wild Card race. Some familiar faces will be making their first start in new places after moving at the trade deadline, and a few lineups are in beautiful, smash spots to stack. There are plenty of angles to consider as you assemble your squad for Monday night!
This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 8/4/2025, with the slate starting at 7:10 PM EST. The lineup picks will showcase elite players, mid-priced options, and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Tyler Glasnow, SP - LAD ($9.8K DK/$10.2K FD)
The Dodgers are in a little bit of a slump as they come home to face the Cardinals to start the week. They snapped an 18-inning scoreless streak and beat the Rays 3-0 on Sunday to finish their road trip 5-4, and will look to Glasnow to start their six-game homestand strong on Monday. Glasnow had a down outing in his last start against the Reds, but he was rolling before that and should be set to bounce back at home at Dodger Stadium.
Glasnow allowed just two earned runs in 18 innings in his first three starts after coming off the injured list with 23 strikeouts, but the Reds reached him for four runs and knocked him out after just four innings. He only had 1.6 DraftKings points in that disappointing showing, but he flashed his high upside with over 18 DraftKings points in each of his three previous starts, highlighted by 35.35 DraftKings points in his last home start, which was against the Twins.

The Cardinals will be a tougher matchup on Monday, but Glasnow has a sparkling 2.16 ERA, 0.84 WHIP, and 11.9 K/9 in his 25 innings at home this season, so I expect a strong bounce-back outing from him in the late game. He's my top pay-up pitcher to build around.
Adrian Houser, SP - TB ($8.1K DK/$9.5K FD)
Especially on DraftKings, Houser is a very affordable mid-range play. He'll be taking on the Angels in his first start for the Rays after Tampa Bay acquired him at the trade deadline from the White Sox. Houser posted an impressive run for Chicago, which signed him after the veteran chose to opt out of his minor league contract with Texas.
Houser went 6-2 in 11 starts with the White Sox, averaging 17.2 DraftKings points and 33.7 FanDuel points per start. He posted a solid 2.10 ERA and 3.31 FIP. His advanced metrics indicate he was a little lucky since he gave up lots of contact with low strikeout numbers, but he has allowed three runs or fewer in every start this year, while working at least six innings in six of his last seven starts.
The Rays are known for getting the most out of pitchers, and Houser could be a key addition for them down the stretch. He gets a favorable spot in Anaheim against the Angels for his Rays' debut.
Brayan Bello, SP - BOS ($7.8 DK/$8.8K FD)
With so many good options in the mid-range, there's no need to go extremely high-risk with a cheap flier on Monday's slate. Bello has been very solid for the Sox since the start of June, going 5-4 in 10 outings, with a 2.83 ERA, 3.93 FIP, 1.09 WHIP, and 6.9 K/9. Like Houser, his strikeout numbers don't jump off the page, but he has been very effective working around trouble and logging solid starts.
He gets a good matchup against the light-hitting Royals on Monday night in Boston in an important Wild Card matchup, and he'll be looking to allow three runs or fewer for his 13th straight start. He showed a high ceiling with 38.55 DraftKings points and 61 FanDuel points in a complete-game win over the Rockies at home during that stretch, and posted at least 20 DraftKings points in three of his five starts in July.

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Jose Ramirez, 3B - CLE ($6.4K DK/$4K FD)
Ramirez is an elite fantasy play on almost every slate the Guardians are on, as he continues to carry the offense and post outstanding numbers in multiple categories. He homered in back-to-back games over the weekend and has multiple hits in four of his last five contests. Over the last month, he's hitting .320 (31-for-97) with 10 homers and 11 stolen bases, giving him 23 homers and 32 stolen bases on the season, along with an average of 10.3 DraftKings points and 13.3 FanDuel points per game.
José Ramírez is the fourth player in MLB history to hit 275+ home runs and steal 275+ bases with a single team.

He is hitting .350 against lefties this year with a .398 wOBA and 159 wRC+. He should be in a great spot against Sean Manaea and the Mets as the Guardians roll into Citi Field after going 9-5 in their last 14 games to climb into the Wild Card race.
Bo Bichette, SS - TOR ($5.7K DK/$3.5K FD)
The Blue Jays are in a dream matchup against the Rockies at Coors Field (more in stacks below), and Bichette has been producing great numbers for the Jays as they have surged to the top of the AL East. He had three hits on Saturday and reached base three more times with two walks and a hit on Sunday. He's batting .299 on the season with 13 homers and a wOBA over .340. He's hit safely in 25 of his last 26 games, hitting an impressive .380 (41-for-108) with 13 doubles, two homers, and 19 RBI over that span.
He doesn't have the elite power production of many cleanup hitters, but his consistent production and the great matchup make him an excellent independent play or a key part of a Blue Jays stack for Monday night.
Andrew Vaughn, 1B - MIL ($3K DK/$3K FD)
Vaughn continues to be an elite value play since he has been absolutely on fire since joining the Brewers a month ago. In his 19 games since his promotion from Triple-A, Vaughn is hitting an outstanding .371 (23-for-62) with six homers, 24 RBI, and a .477 wOBA. Nothing about that production has been fluky either, as evidenced by his 57.4% hard-hit rate and average exit velocity of 93.7 miles per hour since joining Milwaukee.
On Sunday, Vaughn picked up two more hits, and he has five multi-hit games in his last eight contests, helping him average 15.4 fantasy points in those eight games. If the rain holds off and he gets to face Erick Fedde, he'll be an awesome salary-saver with a high ceiling.

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Addison Barger, 3B/OF - TOR ($5.8K DK/$3.5K FD)
Barger has been another key producer for the Blue Jays over the last few weeks, and even though his salary rises with his move to elevation this week, he's worth building around on Monday. Barger has 18 hits in his last 18 games with four doubles, four homers, a triple, and 15 RBI. He has outstanding metrics, ranking in the top 6% of qualified batters in bat speed, hard-hit rate, and average exit velocity, according to Statcast.
The young lefty should thrive in his series at Coors Field this week, especially in the juicy matchup highlighted in stacks below.
Jordan Beck, OF - COL ($4.8K DK/$3K FD)
On the other side of that series in Denver, Beck is a great option for the Rockies against lefty Eric Lauer of the Blue Jays. Beck homered for the second straight game on Sunday as part of a trio of Rockies' blasts in the sixth inning.

Beck has gone 20-for-55 (.364) in his 15 games since the All-Star break with four homers, two stolen bases, and a .460 wOBA. He's hitting .322 this season against lefties with a .412 wOBA and also has very strong splits at Coors Field. Everything points to him staying hot on Monday night against the Jays, and he's still a relatively affordable option despite his very high ceiling.
Ramon Laureano, OF - SD ($3.5K DK/$3.4K FD)
Laureano is still an affordable play after making a positive first impression after arriving with the Padres. He was traded from the Orioles with Ryan O'Hearn and has started all three games since the trade deadline. Laureano went 3-for-12 (.250) with a triple, a home run, and three runs scored in those three contests. He has double-digit DraftKings points in five of his last six games with multiple at-bats and has averaged 10.8 DraftKings points in his last nine starts.
The Padres open a series in Arizona against Brandon Pfaadt and the Diamondbacks on Monday. Pfaadt was strong against the Padres in July, but the upgraded lineup will hope to keep rolling after scoring 16 runs in their three-game series against the Cardinals.

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks
1. Toronto Blue Jays vs. Tanner Gordon
The Blue Jays at Coors Field should be in for a monster night against Tanner Gordon. Gordon is 2-3 in five starts this year with a 4.85 ERA and 4.37 FIP. He gave up seven runs in just three innings in his last start against the Guardians in Cleveland. In his limited work in the majors, righties are hitting .367 against him with a .423 wOBA. At Triple-A, he posted a 5.25 ERA and 4.92 FIP in 12 starts for the Albuquerque Isotopes.
Favorite Combo: Loperfido, Bichette, Guerrero Jr., Barger
2. Milwaukee Brewers vs. Erick Fedde
If the weather cooperates, the Brewers will be in a good matchup against Fedde and the Braves in Atlanta. The Braves added Fedde at the deadline to help them eat innings, but he has given up at least three runs in each of his last six starts, going 0-5 with a 12.09 ERA and 9.11 FIP. He also gave up a whopping nine home runs during that span, and lefties have hit .291 with a .379 wOBA against him on the season.
