Treylon Burks Suffers Fractured Clavicle
Treylon Burks (shoulder, knee) fractured his collarbone during Saturday's practice. Rapoport notes that the wideout will undergo further testing, but will miss "the start of the season at least." He sustained the injury while making a diving grab up the sidelines. It's a massive blow to Burks, who was still recovering from a torn ACL he picked up a season ago. The door seems to be left open for him to come back at some point in 2025, but it's undoubtedly a detriment that he'll miss this critical rapport-building period in camp with rookie quarterback Cam Ward. As of now, veteran Van Jefferson figures to play in three-wide receiver sets primarily. That could change over the next few weeks if one of the rookie wideouts, Elic Ayomanor or Chimere Dike, makes a push for the starting offense.
