Los Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitching prospect Jack Little was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City earlier on Friday. This transaction opened a spot on the major league roster for right-handed pitcher Will Klein. Little made his MLB debut on Thursday against the Padres. He tossed two innings of relief. He allowed four hits and two earned runs and struck out just one batter. However, earlier this season, Little was very effective at Oklahoma City and could be in the mix for an early return to the majors. Through 32 2/3 innings of work, the Stanford prospect has held a strong 2.20 ERA with a 1.16 WHIP. During this stretch, the right-hander has struck out 33 batters and tallied 10 saves. If he were to return to Los Angeles, he would likely return in a middle relief role.--Andy Smith
