Isaac Paredes Sitting With Hamstring Injury
Isaac Paredes (hamstring) will sit out of Friday's series opener at Daikin Park against the visiting Minnesota Twins. Paredes pulled his left hamstring running out a double-play ball in Thursday's win over the Chicago White Sox and will miss at least one game. Mauricio Dubon will start at the hot corner on Friday and hit eighth for Houston against Twins right-hander Chris Paddack. Paredes is day-to-day for now, but fantasy managers should prepare for a potential trip to the injured list if he's unable to recover in a timely fashion. Losing Paredes for an extended period of time would be a pretty big blow to the Astros and fantasy managers, as he's already up to 15 long balls and 42 RBI in his first season with the team. Dubon has a hit in his four career at-bats against Paddack and will be a low-upside DFS sleeper on Friday. UPDATE: Paredes is getting an MRI exam on his hamstring on Friday, according to manager Joe Espada.
