After a string of races early in the season where Joey Logano ran well and earned a lot of stage points and laps led before ultimately finishing outside the top 10, Logano did almost entirely the opposite on Sunday as he quietly delivered one of his better runs of the year. While he was no match for his teammate Ryan Blaney, and even Austin Cindric was ahead of him for good portions of the race, Logano ran in the top 10 almost the entire race and the top five for almost the entire second half. He did take the lead in the pits at the end of Stage 2, but Blaney passed him immediately on the ensuing restart and led the rest of the way. Since Logano has won a race and is far out of the regular-season championship picture, it didn't really matter how he ran on Sunday, but at least it seems like lately the No. 22 team isn't throwing away as many regular-season races as they used to.--Sean Wrona - RotoBaller
