Jacob Wilson Exits Early Tuesday With Left-Forearm Contusion
Jacob Wilson (forearm) left Tuesday's game against the Angels in the bottom of the fifth inning with a left-forearm contusion, per MLB.com's Martin Gallegos. Wilson was hit by a Kyle Hendricks pitch in the third inning. He stayed in the game but was pinch-hit for by Max Schuemann in the fifth inning. Fantasy managers should look for further news after the game, but the fact that he was able to stay in the game temporarily may mean he avoided anything serious. The 23-year-old is having a great offensive season so far, slashing .341/.381/.478 with five home runs, 26 RBI, and four stolen bases in 195 plate appearances.
