San Jose Sharks defenseman Timothy Liljegren (upper body) will return to the lineup for Thursday's matchup against the Montreal Canadiens. He sat out Monday's meeting with the Winnipeg Jets due to an upper-body injury and was initially regarded as a game-time decision for Thursday. Liljegren has made 44 appearances with the Sharks this season, scoring nine points (four goals, five assists). Additionally, he has registered 64 blocks and 47 hits. On Thursday, Liljegren will likely return to a top-four role and will skate with the second power-play unit.--Taavi Pailk
