Detroit Red Wings center Michael Rasmussen (upper body) will not travel with the team to Minnesota for their contest against the Wild on Tuesday evening. Rasmussen sustained this injury during their overtime victory over the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday. Rasmussen left the contest in the second frame after taking a hit. Before exiting, the 25-year-old logged just over eight minutes of ice time and held a -1 rating with two hits. Across 56 contests this season, Rasmussen has found the back of the net eight times and added seven helpers with 96 hits and 38 blocked shots. While the 25-year-old is sidelined, fantasy managers should expect Sheldon Dries to draw into the starting lineup as he was promoted from Grand Rapids earlier on Monday.--Andy Smith
