Tkachuk scored his first goal in the opening frame on the power-play. He also added a secondary assist in this frame. Then, in the third, Tkachuk would break the stalemate with just 15 seconds left to lift Florida to the victory. In this game, he tallied seven shots on goal, with one hit and a +2 rating. This performance also extended his current point streak to five games. During this stretch, Tkachuk has tallied at least two points in three of the games and three points in two.
