Florida Panthers left wing Matthew Tkachuk found the back of the net twice during their 3-2 victory over the St. Louis Blues on Thursday evening. Tkachuk scored his first goal in the opening frame on the power-play. He also added a secondary assist in this frame. Then, in the third, Tkachuk would break the stalemate with just 15 seconds left to lift Florida to the victory. In this game, he tallied seven shots on goal, with one hit and a +2 rating. This performance also extended his current point streak to five games. During this stretch, Tkachuk has tallied at least two points in three of the games and three points in two. Over his past seven, he has tallied 13 points (seven goals, six helpers). He will look to extend his point streak on Saturday evening when he faces the Ottawa Senators.--Andy Smith
