ANALYSIS: Washington Nationals outfield prospect James Wood (hamstring) has been sidelined since May 23 but recently began ramping up his baseball activities and could return to the diamond fairly soon.
Before this minor setback, the number four overall prospect on MLB Pipeline was riding an incredible .355/.465/.598 line with nine long balls, 31 RBI, and ten swiped bags through his first 45 games at Triple-A.

What's more, James Wood has shown significant improvement in his game. He has managed to reduce his strikeout rate from a high of 33.7% last season at Double-A to a commendable 18.3% this season despite facing tougher competition.
Once Wood proves that his hamstring is back to normal, he could join the major league roster fairly soon. The 21-year-old is worth stashing in all leagues as he provides five-category production and could be a league winner in the second half of the season.
