ANALYSIS: New York Yankees outfield prospect Jasson Dominguez (elbow) has just begun a rehab assignment and is worth stashing in deeper leagues.
The 21-year-old underwent Tommy John surgery last September and has been on the 60-day injured list ever since.
However, the top prospect in the Yankees system has played two rehab games with Single-A and has already begun to flash his elite potential. He has tallied three hits so far, including a 111 mph single.

Randy Miller of The Newark Star-Ledger reported that Dominguez is not expected to return to the major league roster following the completion of his rehab assignment. Instead, he will be optioned to Triple-A Scranton.
While this does hurt his value short term, due to how well he performed in the major leagues last season with a .258/.303/.677 and tallied four long balls, he will push his way to the major leagues soon enough. Stash him if you can, as he could become a valuable outfielder in the second half of the season.
