Toronto Maple Leafs center Mitch Marner skated on his own Tuesday as he continues to progress from a high-ankle sprain. He will not play against the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday and remains listed as day to day. "Mitch is no longer day to day from day to day; he's just day to day," Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe said on Tuesday. "He's progressing very well. Not available today but as far as his plan for the rest of the week, that will be determined tomorrow." The veteran has missed the past seven games after suffering the injury in a 4-1 loss to the Boston Bruins on March 7. The 26-year-old has posted 25 goals and 76 points in 62 games on the season, adding 145 shots and a plus-20 rating to his ledger.--Brenton KempRead More News
