CBB DFS: Main DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (3/15/24)

Armando Bacot CBB DFS ncaa tournament daily fantasy college basketball march madness

Today's main DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 3/15/24. Mike's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

We only have five games for the main slate on Championship Saturday. Unlike the early slate, all five of these games are for automatic bids. We don't have quite the drama of last night, but we still have five great ones on here. We start this off with another meeting between Houston and Iowa State. Both teams are locked into their seeds and both games during the regular season were boxing matches.

Next up is New Mexico taking on San Diego State. Right now, ESPN's Joe Lunardi has the Lobos as the last team in. There is at least one team that could steal a bid still in action, so they would love to get this win. Speaking of bid stealers, the Wolfpack take on the arch-rival Tar Heels for the ACC automatic invite. If the Pack win, they're taking a bid from someone. Marquette faces UConn for the Big East title. We end this in Vegas with the Ducks and Ralphies for the Pac-12 title. If Oregon wins, they might steal Colorado's bid.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 3/16/24, starting at 6:30 p.m. EDT. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Devin Carter, Providence ($10.2K)

Carter keeps propelling the Friars to an unlikely NCAA Tournament bid. I wouldn't want to play these guys right now! They ousted Creighton behind another big night from Carter -- 48.25 DraftKings points, which was his fourth straight game over 40. Now he gets Marquette without Tyler Kolek. The Eagles still play solid defense, but not having Kolek to deal with Carter is going to make a huge difference...and is the main reason why I'm not shying away from Carter despite the price hike. Carter has been in a league of his own since Bryce Hopkins went down in early January. The only one consistently outscoring him is Zach Edey.

Tyrece Radford, Texas A&M ($7.3K

Wade Taylor IV's ceiling is just as high as anyone. The problem is he rarely reaches it and his off games are usually really off. Radford is a suitable alternative. The price difference isn't that great anymore, but Radford has five straight games over 30 DraftKings points. Radford put up 45.75 DraftKings points in the first meeting with Kentucky. Taylor tipped the scales at 54.5. Once again, both are great options. I'm not against using both of them in the same lineup. If the Aggies win, they are comfortably in the tournament. They have a lot to play for tonight.

DJ Horne, North Carolina State ($5.9K)

The Pack are making a late run at the NCAA Tournament, but they still have work to do. Beating the Hoos might be enough to take their spot. Horne was cruising for most of February and the hip injury didn't bother him against Duke or Syracuse. Horne has 51.75 DraftKings points over the last two games. Both games against Virginia were in January before he got hot. It is worth noting that Horne was much better against Virginia on the road. A neutral site favors him here, especially since the Hoos weren't great on the road this year.

Rich Barron, Providence ($4.9K)

The Friars seem to operate better with Barron on the floor rather than Corey Floyd Jr. Floyd seems to be better off the bench, so it works. Barron does a lot of stuff that often doesn't make it to the stat sheet. He's hustling, making the extra pass, getting on the floor, and occasionally knocking down open shots. His minutes load usually put him around 20 DraftKings points, but he doesn't have a ton of upside.

Also consider: KJ Simpson, Colorado ($9K); Mark Sears, Alabama ($8.9K); Reece Beekman, Virginia ($8.5K); Jamal Shead, Houston ($8.1K); Antonio Reeves, Kentucky ($7.6K); Myles Rice, Washington State ($7.1K); Keisei Tominaga, Nebraska ($6.9K); Keshon Gilbert, Iowa State ($6.6K); Roddy Gayle Jr., Ohio State ($6.1K); Manny Obaseki, Texas A&M ($5.4K); Justin Edwards, Kentucky ($5.1K); Luke O'Brien, Colorado ($4.8K); Chase Ross, Marquette ($4.6K); Kymany Houinsou, Washington State ($4.1K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Kel'el Ware, Indiana ($9.4K)

Ware is back to his old tricks again, putting up at least 45 DraftKings points in three straight games and four of the last five. He put up 84 DraftKings points in the two games against Nebraska this year, so his floor could be the highest on the slate. At the very least, it's right there with Carter's at $800 less. Ware was consistent in those two Nebraska games. He went for 43 DraftKings points at home and 41 in Lincoln. He should be right around that mark in Minneapolis as well.

Armando Bacot, North Carolina ($6.9K)

Bacot feels a little too cheap for what he can do. I know...I'm hanging onto last year. Maybe, but tournaments are when Bacot thrives. He only had 26.5 DraftKings points yesterday, but that was in only 25 minutes as Carolina won easily. That was also Bacot's best total this month. He racked up 39 DraftKings points in their game against Pitt this year. Bacot's inconsistency this season has been a bit frustrating, but if he turns in 39 against Pitt again, I can tell you that I'll be in the right side of it. The potential for the price is enormous and his floor won't kill you.

Solomon Washington, Texas A&M ($6.2K)

Dollar for dollar, Washington might be the best play on the entire slate. I'll have him in every lineup. Washington has averaged 10.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 2.0 blocks, and 1.3 steals since the beginning of March. He put up 26.25 DraftKings points on Kentucky in their regular season game despite only playing 25 minutes. He's the anti-Bacot. Washington is as consistent as you'll find in this price range.

Jake Groves, Virginia ($5.2K)

Groves was put back into the starting lineup for the Boston College game at the end of February and has 82.25 DraftKings points over the four games since. It's a far cry from what he accomplished first at Eastern Washington, then at Oklahoma, but those are good numbers for his Virginia tenure. His 33.25 DraftKings point effort last night -- and his first double-double of the season -- pushed the Wahoos back over the tournament threshold...for now. They'll need another strong game from Groves to stay there.

Also consider: Oumar Ballo, Arizona ($8.2K); Harrison Ingram, North Carolina ($7.8K); Tristan Da Silva, Colorado ($7.6K); Tyrese Samuel, Florida ($7.2K); Andersson Garcia, Texas A&M ($6.7K); Eddie Lampkin Jr., Colorado ($6.2K); Nick Pringle, Alabama ($6K); Alex Condon, Florida ($5.7K); Devin Royal, Ohio State ($4.4K)
