It has been a rough start to the 2024 season for Joey Logano and the No. 22 Team Penske team. At Phoenix this past weekend, Logano showed a bunch of speed during practice but wasn't able to back that speed up during the race, as he was mired mid-pack for much of the event. Things went from bad to worse when Logano was wrecked by John Hunter Nemechek on lap 206, and Joey ultimately finished in 34th-place--his worst result this season. This is the third race of the year that Logano has been involved in a wreck, and his third finish of 28th or worse in the first four races. After he retired from the race, Logano was interviewed about the incident and said, "Maybe he [Nemechek] should take a look and realize he can't do that. He drove straight into the back of me. He needs to be man enough to own up to that." The frustrations continue to mount for Logano, as the former Series Champion now sits 30th in points and is a full 100 points behind his teammate, Ryan Blaney.--Jordan McAbee
