CBB DFS: DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (3/10/24)

Zach Edey - CBB DFS Picks, NCAA Daily College Fantasy Basketball

Today's DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 3/10/24. Mike's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

DraftKings has eschewed the small conference championship games today in favor of uniformity. What a way to end the regular season! It's all Big Ten (14) on this slate with 12 of the 14 conference members in action. We start at the crack of noon in Ann Arbor with Nebraska in town.

The afternoon starts in West Lafayette with Wisconsin visiting. Ohio State heads to Jersey to take on Rutgers. Michigan State is at Assembly Hall to face the Hoosiers. Illinois heads to Iowa City for a date with the Hawkeyes. We end the college basketball regular season in State College with Maryland in town.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 3/10/24, starting at noon EST. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Ace Baldwin Jr., Penn State ($8.3K)

The VCU transfer took a while to get acclimated to his new team, but he's rolling lately. Baldwin has at least 30 DraftKings points in nine of the last 11 games. The first meeting between these two teams was long before conference play began. It was back on December 6. A lot of things have changed since then. For one, Baldwin has been more judicial with his shots and more efficient. He has also dished out at least eight assists in four straight games. Baldwin should be able to top the 26 DraftKings points from the first meeting with Maryland.

Dug McDaniel, Michigan ($7.4K)

McDaniel being allowed to play in road games for the last couple of weeks has allowed him to get in a rhythm. Who knew? He has averaged 16 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per game since he was allowed to partake in road games again. In one of the more befuddling things in a sport full of them, Nebraska's stifling defense at The Vault doesn't travel with them. The Cornhuskers have allowed 79.4 points per game on the road this year. McDaniel's newfound consistency should stick around.

Josh Dix, Iowa ($6.5K)

Dix played so well as a replacement when Patrick McCaffery was out that the Hawkeyes moved him back into the starting lineup for good after a slow February. Dix has at least 23 DraftKings points in four of the last five games. One of those games was against Illinois in Champaign when he scored 20 points on the Illini but got almost nothing in the way of peripherals. He's not a great defender and not much of a passer, but the points and rebounds are usually enough to prevent a poor game.

Gavin Griffiths, Rutgers ($4.8K)

Griffiths has been instant offense off the bench for Rutgers over the last two games. He has scored 24 points with six rebounds, two assists, three blocks, and a steal in 45 minutes. Rutgers is deep in the backcourt, so I don't expect an uptick in minutes for Griffiths, but we don't really need it with him playing the way he is. Griffiths is by far my favorite value play on the slate.

Also consider: Jahmir Young, Maryland ($8.6K); Braden Smith, Purdue ($8.2K); Bruce Thornton, Ohio State ($7.8K); Trey Galloway, Indiana ($6.8K); Keisei Tominaga, Nebraska ($6.6K); Roddy Gayle Jr., Ohio State ($6.4K); Fletcher Loyer, Purdue ($5.1K); Dale Bonner, Ohio State ($4.3K); Austin Williams, Rutgers ($3.7K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Zach Edey, Purdue ($11K)

I guess we should be thankful that DraftKings unofficially capped Edey's price at $11K. It hasn't moved in almost a month, and with Edey dropping at least 40 DraftKings points every time, we can't say that he hasn't been worth the price. He's a walking double-double, a better passer than your big man, and a menace around the rim. You can't get away from Edey in cash games, and it's becoming very hard to justify a fade in GPPs as well.

Coleman Hawkins, Illinois ($7.8K)

Iowa isn't big on the interior this year. Hawkins smacked them for 49 DraftKings points on February 24. Not much has changed for either team since then. Iowa's front line hasn't grown or put on 50 pounds. They still won't have an answer for Hawkins in this one. He'll eat them alive if the perimeter guys keep feeding him like they did in the first game.

Tyler Wahl, Wisconsin ($6K)

Wahl was a problem for Purdue in the first meeting. He scored 20 points on the Boilermakers without making a three-point shot. Wahl is a streaky shooter, and he has been running hot lately except for the Rutgers game. I'm willing to overlook that hiccup in GPPs. Purdue isn't a great defensive team as long as you stay away from Edey. I could see another nice game from Wahl here.

Puff Johnson, Penn State ($4.6K)

Johnson's efficient shooting has been an asset for Penn State off the bench. He has 43 points over the last four games while only playing a shade over 20 minutes per game. Johnson is a good defender and solid on the boards as well, which is exactly what we want in a value play. He played 33 minutes against Minnesota this week. He's worth using in this range just in case the uptick in minutes holds.

Also consider: Payton Sandfort, Iowa ($8.8K); Julian Reese, Maryland ($8.3K); Rienk Mast, Nebraska ($6.6K); Mackenzie Mgbako, Indiana ($6.4K); Jamison Battle, Ohio State ($6.1K); Terrance Williams II, Michigan ($5.7K); Mason Gillis, Purdue ($5.2K); Zed Key, Ohio State ($4.8K)
