Our Monday slate is the same three games that occupy ESPN's Big Monday on their networks. That means we get three marquee games. That also means six tough defenses and a shallower pool of value plays. These can get really tricky.
We start at the Octagon of Doom with West Virginia in the Little Apple to face K-State. Miami heads up to Chapel Hill to see if they can deal the Tar Heels another loss in a game they shouldn't lose. We close the night out in Fort Worth with Baylor heading up I-35W to face the Toadies.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
RJ Davis, North Carolina ($8.1K)
To call Davis mostly a scorer really isn't fair. He only hit one shot out of 14 from the floor against Virginia over the weekend, but he still netted 23.5 DraftKings points thanks to peripherals and frequent trips to the foul line. Miami doesn't have the defense to shut down Davis like that. He scored 25 points against them in the first meeting on February 10 and totaled 48.25 DraftKings points. That was on the road! Davis is usually a little better at home, so there's a possibility for a big game here.
Jameer Nelson Jr., TCU ($6.3K)
TCU and Baylor played three overtimes in the first meeting, so if you just look at the past stats from that game without context, they are going to look inflated. Nelson scored 30 points in that game. Don't expect that again, but his scoring is up lately. He is averaging 11.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 1.8 steals over the last four games. All of those stats except the steals are well above his season averages.
Avery Anderson III, TCU ($5.5K)
Anderson didn't have much of an impact in the triple-overtime game. This is based on his impact on the last two games. Anderson cracked the starting lineup against Cincinnati over the weekend and responded with 24.25 DraftKings points after 31.25 off the bench against Texas Tech. It's not like Nelson or Trevian Tennyson are playing well enough to box Anderson out of the lineup. He's trending upward and could put up a strong stat line for a value play.

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Armando Bacot, North Carolina ($9K)
Bacot is riding a streak of six consecutive double-doubles. That's more like it! This is what we became accustomed to last year. The numbers aren't quite as big, but I feel like we can count on Bacot for over 30 DraftKings points. His upside is in the mid-40s this year instead of 60, but I also feel like the price is controlled enough. Bacot is more of a cash play, but he had 35.75 DraftKings points in the first game against Miami. That's still a strong outing for the price.

Jesse Edwards, West Virginia ($7.5K)
A wrist injury sidelined Edwards for nine whole games and kept him on a minutes limit for several more. That appears to be over. Edwards has played 64 minutes over the last two games and he's looking more and more like the player that transferred from Syracuse. Edwards has 25 points, 18 rebounds, four assists, three steals, and six blocks in those two games. He won't be this affordable for long.
Essam Mostafa, TCU ($4.3K)
Keep an eye on the status of Ernest Udeh Jr. If Udeh can return, Mostafa won't have much of a role. Mostafa has played 47 minutes over the last two and a half games in relief of Udeh. He has 21 points, 18 rebounds, two assists, two steals, and three blocks in that span. He's a lock if Udeh is out again.
