CBB DFS: Night DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (2/17/24)

Oumar Ballo - College Basketball Rankings, NCAA CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Today's Night DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 2/17/24. Mike's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

Hey, the fun isn't over yet! We still have a nine-game night slate to top off our huge day of college basketball. Welcome all of you NBA DFS players going through withdrawals. We welcome you to stick around even after the pros are back. Let's have some fun!

We start in Providence with DePaul in town for a beating. Clemson hosts the Pack. We have Michigan State in Ann Arbor to take on the Wolverines. Cal heads up to Seattle to take on the Huskies. Missouri heads to Oxford to try and disperse the Rebels. It's the Territory Cup on hardwood in Tucson. Colorado heads out to L.A. to take on the Trojans. The Civil War is taking place in Corvallis. We end this in Vegas, baby! The boys from Reno are heading down to a real city. Do they give out the Fremont Cannon in basketball too?

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/17/24, starting at 7:30 p.m. EST. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Devin Carter, Providence ($9.1K)

Carter has been otherworldly since Bryce Perkins went down. He showed his floor against Butler, and it's still 30 DraftKings points. He showed his ceiling against Creighton, which was 63.75 DraftKings points. In the first meeting with DePaul, Carter put up 46.75 DraftKings points in only 28 minutes. He has a stable floor and high upside that can be used in any format.

Matthew Murrell, Mississippi ($7.2K)

Ole Miss has a lot of talented guards, but the senior Murrell is the glue of the group. He is the most stable DFS option. In a game such as this one, if you are building a high-danger lineup, you may want to chase the upside of Allen Flanigan and risk the lower floor. Murrell is the cash option and likely the one you want in single-entry tournaments. Only three SEC teams (A&M, Tennessee, and Auburn) have held Murrell under 24 DraftKings points. Missouri won't be the fourth.

Jayden Taylor, North Carolina State ($6K)

Based on the ceiling for the price, Taylor might be the best GPP option on the slate. He takes a lot of shots and hauls in a half-dozen rebounds in most games. Then you see him in the game against Pitt, where he scores 0.5 DraftKings points in 24 minutes, and you wonder if it's the same player. His floor is the lowest you'll find. It's lower than anyone who plays more than 10 minutes. But that upside...he almost hit 40 DraftKings points the game before the Pitt disaster and he cleared 30 the game before that. Taylor put up 28 DraftKings points against Wake this week, which is a great return at this price.

Rich Barron, Providence ($3.5K)

Despite his newfound starting role, Barron isn't the guy who's going to break a slate. He's a means to affording someone who can. Barron is a decent scorer and occasionally a couple of rebounds find him by little fault of his own. He's good for 12-15 DraftKings points, which is a strong return at this price.

Also consider: KJ Simpson, Colorado ($9.2K); Caleb Love, Arizona ($8.8K); DJ Horne, North Carolina State ($7.7K); Isaiah Collier, USC ($7.1K); Jaden Akins, Michigan State ($6.7K); Kylan Boswell, Arizona ($6.3K); Dug McDaniel, Michigan ($5.9K); Nick Honor, Missouri ($5.5K); Brandon Murray, Mississippi ($4.8K); Daniel Foster, Nevada ($4.3K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Oumar Ballo, Arizona ($8.2K)

I'm a huge fan of Josh Oduro, and he had a really good game against DePaul the first time around...in 19 minutes. We simply can't count on anything with that few minutes. I'll turn to Ballo, who is riding a streak of four straight double-doubles and missed the fifth by one rebound. Ballo is averaging 16.5 points and 13.8 rebounds over those four games. That's a floor of 35 DraftKings points!

Tristan Da Silva, Colorado ($7K)

Playing alongside a freshman who might be the first college player selected in the 2024 draft has sapped some of Da Silva's production, but he's still the most consistent Colorado piece. Washington is the only team that has held him under 22 DraftKings points this season. We are working with a reliable floor, but this upside isn't that high with Cody Williams around.

Jack Clark, Clemson ($5.7K)

Clark returned to the starting lineup against North Carolina. In those three games, Clark has 19 points, 23 rebounds, four assists, four blocks, and three steals while playing at least 27 minutes per game. PJ Hall is still the alpha of this frontcourt and Ian Schieffelin isn't going anywhere either. Clark has still carved out a role for a Clemson team that is 3-0 since Clark rejoined the lineup with wins over North Carolina, Miami, and Syracuse. He's likely to stick in the lineup.

Carson Cooper, Michigan State ($4.5K)

Cooper has become the preferred reserve in the frontcourt for the Spartans. He's better offensively than Mady Sissoko. He also holds the edge on Sissoko in assists and is just as good on the boards. Cooper's floor is around a dozen and his upside is close to 20. That's a strong output for a value play.

Also consider: Keion Brooks Jr., Washington ($8.7K); N'Faly Dante, Oregon ($8.3K); Olivier Nkamhoua, Michigan ($7.2K); Rob Whaley Jr., UNLV ($6K); DJ Rodman, USC ($5.5K); Churchill Abass, DePaul ($5K); Aidan Shaw, Missouri ($3.8K)
