Fantasy Football Injury Reports For The Conference Championships (Friday Updates): Mark Andrews, Deebo Samuel, Isiah Pacheco, Sam LaPorta, Josh Reynolds, and more

Deebo Samuel - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Fantasy football injury updates and injury reports for RB, WR, TE, QB for the Conference Championship Round (2024), as of 1/26, including Mark Andrews, Deebo Samuel, Isiah Pacheco, Sam LaPorta, Josh Reynolds, and more.

Only four teams remain on the path to Super Bowl LVIII, but injuries are still a factor in DFS contests and playoff fantasy leagues. Our injury updates and reports for the Conference Championships as of Friday, January 26, 2024, will give you the latest updates on key guys.

As always, some players have more "real" risk of missing this week's game than others, but things change quickly, so it's important to stay up to date. Mark Andrews, Deebo Samuel, Isiah Pacheco, Sam LaPorta, Josh Reynolds, and more are in danger of missing the Conference Championship Round of the NFL playoffs. Fantasy managers and DFSers should be ready to pivot should things go south.

To keep close tabs on all of the news across the NFL, make sure to favorite or bookmark the fantasy football player news page, or download the free RotoBaller fantasy football mobile app with push notification alerts on all the latest news. Let's look at the updates for some top fantasy assets at all positions and see whether they may play on Sunday.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Mark Andrews Injury Update

The Baltimore Ravens officially activated tight end Mark Andrews (ankle) from Injured Reserve on Friday, meaning he will be active for Sunday's AFC Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Andrews hasn't played since he fractured his fibula and suffered ligament damage in his left ankle on November 16 against the Cincinnati Bengals, but the 28-year-old Pro Bowl tight returned to practice last week and has been practicing in full. In Andrews' place, Isaiah Likely has broken out as one of quarterback Lamar Jackson's go-to targets, catching 23 passes for 356 yards and six touchdowns in seven games.

There's no pass-catcher that Jackson trusts more than Andrews, though, but he'll probably be on a pitch count of some sort against KC, making him hard to trust for DFS fantasy lineups. Baltimore's offense isn't as dependent on Andrews as they've been in the past.

Deebo Samuel Injury Update

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said that star wide receiver Deebo Samuel (shoulder) isn't on the team's final injury report on Friday and will play on Sunday versus the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship game. "Full-go today," Shanahan said about Samuel's practice status on Friday. Samuel didn't practice on Wednesday and was upgraded to limited in Thursday's session.

The 28-year-old was forced out of the Divisional Round win early against the Green Bay Packers and never returned, but it won't stop him from playing in this weekend's big game. Samuel was looking primed for a big performance last Saturday before his injury. There's some risk because of his shoulder injury, but if he's not limited at all on Sunday, he could go off against a Lions defense that has been very generous to opposing wideouts this season.

Isiah Pacheco Injury Update

Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco (toe/ankle) is officially listed as questionable to face the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game. The 24-year-old has had a successful start to this year's postseason, producing 186 yards and two touchdowns on 39 carries. He's racked up plenty of bumps and bruises this year, and it's unclear whether or not he's at risk of missing this contest.

The Ravens surrendered the 13th-fewest fantasy points per game to running backs during the regular season, so it could be tough sledding for the Rutgers product if he plays. If he cannot suit up, Clyde Edwards-Helaire will likely operate as a bell cow back with limited options available for Kansas City. DFS gamers should monitor Pacheco's status 90 minutes before kickoff when the official inactives list is released.

Sam LaPorta Injury Update

Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta (knee) did not practice on Wednesday, got in a limited session on Thursday, and practiced in full on Friday. The rookie is still dealing with the knee injury he suffered in Week 18 against the Minnesota Vikings, but he does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers.

The 49ers surrendered the 11th-fewest fantasy points per game to tight ends during the regular season, but LaPorta has proven he has upside in all matchups. He's the third-most expensive tight end option behind Travis Kelce and Mark Andrews in FanDuel DFS contests on Sunday, so he remains a strong consideration in lineups.

Josh Reynolds, Kalif Raymond Injury Update

Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds (ribs) was removed from the injury report on Friday, meaning he's good to go for the NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers. Reynolds was a limited participant during Wednesday and Thursday's practice with a rib injury, but it turned out to be minor.

The 28-year-old has been a key contributor so far in the postseason, catching seven of his 10 targets for 107 yards and a touchdown. Kalif Raymond (knee) will not play on Sunday, so Reynolds should continue to be heavily involved in the matchup with the 49ers, who have been a neutral defense against fantasy wide receivers to this point.

Skyy Moore, Kadarius Toney Injury Update

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Skyy Moore (knee) will not be activated from the Injured Reserve list for Sunday's contest against the Baltimore Ravens. Meanwhile, Kadarius Toney (hip) is listed as questionable for the AFC Championship Game. Toney was a limited participant for Thursday's practice after putting in a full practice on Wednesday. The 2021 first-round pick has not played since Week 16 due to a hip injury, and it remains to be seen if he will return this week.

Toney caught just 27 passes for 169 yards and a touchdown and rushed 11 times for 31 yards in 13 regular season games, so he is not a strong DFS consideration if he suits up on Sunday. Rashee Rice has established himself as the clear No. 2 target behind Travis Kelce in Kansas City's offense.

Update: Kadarius Toney (hip/personal) has been ruled out for Sunday.
