Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov (upper body) took part in Friday's morning skate but is unlikely to return for Friday night's contest against the visiting Philadelphia Flyers. The star winger has missed the last seven games and has not appeared since getting injured in a Dec. 30 contest against the Winnipeg Jets. It's been a down season for Kaprizov, if only by his lofty standards. The 26-year-old still has averaged a point per game with 34 points in as many contests, but he posted 40 goals and 75 points across just 67 games last season, one year after racking up a whopping 108 points in 81 games. Goaltender Filip Gustavsson and defenseman Jonas Brodin also took part in Friday's skate but are also not expected to return in the evening against the Flyers.--Brenton Kemp
