DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily College Fantasy Football (12/30/23)

Carson Beck - College Football Rankings, NCAA CFB DFS Lineup Picks

Mike's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for Saturday (12/30/23). His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

The NFL is taking tomorrow for its own, so we get to end 2023 in college football a day early with four bowl games. We have the good, the bad, and the ugly on here in what could be the last interesting slate of the year.

We begin in Atlanta this time with Mississippi and Penn State facing off in the Peach Bowl. Next up is Auburn and Maryland in the Music City Bowl. We have an Orange Bowl between Florida State and Georgia that lost a lot of luster due to many opt-outs on the Florida State side. We close out in Tucson with Toledo taking on Wyoming in the Arizona Bowl.

In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/30/23, locking at noon Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Andrew Peasley, Wyoming ($7,800)

Two words that I never thought I would use in the same sentence are "Peasley" and "efficient," but here we are. Peasley only has nine incompletions in the last two games combined, which is a far cry from his 60.6 completion percentage on the season. On top of that, Peasley has five passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns in those games while not turning the ball over. Down is up. The earth is flat. Cardinal directions have ceased to exist. Hell has frozen over. Either that or Peasley has finally figured out how to be a quarterback. It might be the latter, but he's still a GPP-only play for me.

Tucker Gleason, Toledo ($5,800)

Gleason has been with the Rockets for three years, so he is familiar with everything they have to offer. He started a few games last year when DeQuan Finn was hurt, so his learning curve should be lower than many replacing season-long opt-outs. Wyoming has a solid defense so don't expect miracles, but I can see Gleason turning in a 20-point effort. That would be a great value for the price.

Also consider: Carson Beck, Georgia ($8,700); Drew Allar, Penn State ($8,100); Brock Glenn, Florida State ($6,300)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Harrison Waylee, Wyoming ($7,800)

I don't like to use backs in situations where the quarterback poaches yards or touchdowns, but Wyoming runs the ball enough to give enough work to pay off both Peasley and Waylee. The Toledo defense had issues with Miami of Ohio in the MAC Championship with a good tailback and an elusive quarterback. Waylee ran for 114 yards and a touchdown on Toledo in his freshman season for Northern Illinois. I'll be happy if he can pull that off again.

Kendall Milton, Georgia ($6,600)

If you believe the massive spread in this game and that Georgia is going to cover it, Milton is the Bulldog you want. Daijun Edwards is better in the passing game with Milton taking a lot of the work on earlier downs. If Georgia isn't going to have to pass much in this game, this should be a chance for Milton to shine. Milton has scored at least one touchdown in every game since Week 3 against South Carolina.

Jacquez Stuart, Toledo ($5,600)

Peny Boone hit the portal, so Stuart should get the start in this game. He has been a strong backup to Boone all season with 475 yards and six touchdowns on 101 carries. We haven't got to see him be a horse yet, but he ran for 111 yards on 23 carries filling in for an injured Peny Boone in the bowl game against Liberty last year. Stuart could shine in the bowl game once again.

Also consider: Quinshon Judkins, Mississippi ($7,500); Nicholas Singleton, Penn State ($6,400); Roman Hemby, Maryland ($5,800); Jarquez Hunter, Auburn ($5,700)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Ladd McConkey, Georgia ($6,300)

It's not a big surprise that McConkey is playing for the Bulldogs here regardless of whether he goes to the draft or not. Brock Bowers has nothing left to prove in college. A big game here from McConkey could show that he is completely healthy (he definitely was not against Alabama) and could showcase what pro scouts want to see. It's a win-win for Ladd, Georgia, and us DFS players...especially with Bowers missing the game.

Jerjuan Newton, Toledo ($5,000)

There is a drop in arm strength from Finn to Gleason, but Gleason's experience in this offense and with Newton should lead to a nice game for Newton...especially if the Rockets fall behind. Newton battled inconsistency down the stretch, but so did the whole Toledo offense. There's a risk that Wyoming locks them down, but that's baked into the price. Newton could have a big game for a low price.

Ja'Khi Douglas, Florida State ($4,400)

This is a running back-heavy slate anyway. If you feel the need to play more than four, you have a chance! Douglas is listed as a receiver, but he is one of the starting running backs for the Seminoles on the depth chart. His experience as a receiver should help him, but none of these guys has a high ceiling against the Georgia defense.

Also consider: Tre Harris, Mississippi  ($6,900); Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint, Georgia ($5,500); Tai Felton, Maryland ($5,100); Caden Prieskorn, Mississippi ($4,800); Rivaldo Fairweather, Auburn ($4,300); Kentron Poitier, Florida State ($4,000)

DraftKings CFB Stacks:

Auburn

This is a slate littered with strong defenses, so I likely won't full-stack any team. Maryland is statistically the worst defense on the slate and they aren't that bad. Not only that, they are facing an offense that has looked downright horrible this year. If you're a believer in Auburn in this one, I think you need to start the stack with Peyton Thorne. Yes, he was beyond terrible against the Tide, but many teams are. Hunter and Fairweather are nice pieces to run with Thorne. Jay Fair is probably the best receiver, but it's hard to tell on a team that didn't throw much.

Wyoming

Toledo, particularly the defense, struggled down the stretch, so I could see running a Wyoming stack. Peasley and Waylee will be a common duo. You'll need to add a third piece to differentiate yourself. Treyton Welch closed the season strong and Ayir Asante scored a touchdown in each of the last two games. Wyatt Weiland would be the safer pick.

Also consider: Georgia, Toledo
