Gameweek 20 Rankings - Fantasy Premier League Predictions, Tips, and Picks for 2023/24

FPL Gameweek 20 rankings, predictions, tips, and picks for Fantasy Premier League lineups. RotoBaller's EPL fantasy Gameweek 20 rankings for the 2023/24 FPL season.

Welcome to Gameweek 20, RotoBallers! This is our third year covering FPL, and we are bringing you more coverage than ever. We publish two weekly articles: a staff roundtable preview and our weekly rankings. Then, once a month, we have our newest report, The Watchlist, a review of the previous month and a look ahead to the upcoming fixtures.

19 gameweeks down, 19 to go. The gameweeks are coming fast and furious, but the festive fixture crunch finally ends with Gameweek 20. After this, we have two weeks to catch our FPL breath and reset for the campaign's second half. It's a bit of a strange schedule, as there are games from Saturday until Tuesday. The gameweek highlight is Monday night when Liverpool looks to pull the double over Newcastle with a win at Anfield.

The Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 20 deadline is 6:00 AM ET on Saturday, December 30, when Luton Town welcomes Chelsea. Also, look out for the rest of our excellent soccer coverage as the squad gets you all set for every English Premier League, Major League Soccer, and UEFA Champions League slate from a DFS and betting perspective.

Fantasy Premier League - Gameweek 20 Rankings

Our weekly rankings highlight players who could be worth a punt in your Fantasy Premier League squad. While the rankings will be filled with familiar names, a low-owned player with an easy fixture will rise up the one-week charts. For each gameweek, we will provide our top-15 goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards. These can also be applied as DFS rankings for your weekend contests.

Gameweek 19 Fantasy Premier League High Scorers

  • Goalkeeper: Murara Neto, Bournemouth - 9 points
  • Defender: Konstantinos Mavropanos, West Ham - 15 points
  • Midfielder: Alejandro Garnacho, Man United & Hwang Hee-chan, Wolves - 14 points
  • Forward: Chris Wood, Nottingham Forest - 17 points

FPL Goalkeepers - Gameweek 20 Rankings

  • It's getting to that magical time of year when FPL managers convince themselves to invest in Ederson. He's an expensive keeper who doesn't keep clean sheets or accumulate bonus points. Managers would be much better off saving £1.0 million and rolling with Neto from Bournemouth.

FPL Defenders - Gameweek 20 Rankings

  • Trent Alexander-Arnold and Pedro Porro have overtaken Kieran Trippier in my rankings for the season, and they'll stay there for a while. Newcastle is 19th for expected goals conceded (xGC) over the last six gameweeks and travels to Anfield this weekend. You'll notice a severe lack of Toon Army assets in this week's rankings. Meanwhile, TAA is in tip-top form and could come away with a clean sheet, an attacking return, and all three bonus points.

FPL Midfielders - Gameweek 20 Rankings

  • The top two names on the Gameweek 20 rankings will not be in England come Gameweek 21. Mohamed Salah and Son Heung-min will play for Egypt and South Korea in their respective continental competitions. You can hold off one more week with Erling Haaland (foot) on the shelf. However, two free transfers for Gameweek 21 will be incredibly valuable in two weeks.

FPL Forwards - Gameweek 20 Rankings

  • Darwin Nunez finally ended his Premier League goal drought on Tuesday night with a goal against Burnley. In Gameweek 21, he faces a Newcastle side that gave him his breakout moment in English football. In Gameweek 3, Nunez came on as a substitute when Liverpool trailed 1-0 at Newcastle. In his 13-minute cameo, Nunez bagged two goals and three bonus points. It was one of his two double-digit hauls this season, but there could be another one in the cards on Monday against a suddenly leaky Newcastle defense.
