Jameson Williams is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for wide receivers. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 17 of the 2023 NFL season.

ANALYSIS: Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams has basically been a big play or bust guy in his second NFL season. He's had some explosive moments, but the volume hasn't been there for that to translate into consistent numbers.
However, that might be changing. Before Week 16, he had just one game with more than three targets all season. He's surpassed that mark in both of the Lions' two most recent games, and he set a new season-high in receptions this week with five. He finished the game with 43 receiving yards, marking the second game in a row that Williams has had over 40 receiving yards. He'd hit that mark in three of his first nine games this season.
This recent increase in usage is a great sign for his upcoming fantasy value, both over the last two weeks of the 2023 season and into what should be a breakout 2024 campaign for Williams.
As far as Week 17 goes, Williams is always a threat to break off a huge play and an increase in usage makes that even more likely. He might be my favorite boom-or-bust option on the wire.
