New York Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin (lower body) appears on track to return from a one-game absence on Tuesday against Detroit. The Rangers didn't have him in the lineup Saturday versus Minnesota because Shesterkin is "banged up," with Louis Domingue summoned from the minors to work as Jonathan Quick's backup. However, the team has now reassigned Domingue back to the AHL, which suggests that Shesterkin is good to go again. The 2022 Vezina Trophy winner has been in top form right off the bat in 2023-24, posting a 6-2-0 record with a 2.36 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage. He'll head out for his fifth consecutive win in his next appearance.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
