PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For the NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Nikola Jokic OVER 27.5 Points - I'll be targeting some points props tonight, starting out as the Nuggets and Grizzlies duke it out in Memphis. I'll start with the reigning NBA Finals MVP, Nikola Jokic. Joker had 29 points in the season-opener against the Lakers on Thursday and hit this number in 17 of his last 30 games dating back to last season. I don't think that the Grizzlies have anyone to stop him and my model projects him for 31.4 points tonight.
Desmond Bane OVER 24.5 Points - I'll take a look at the other side of this game tonight with Desmond Bane's points. Perhaps this is an overreaction to Bane dropping 31 points in the Grizzlies' season opener, but this is the second time he's done that in his last four games without Ja Morant. I think without Morant in the lineup, this is a prime opportunity for Bane to grow as a player, and I'll back him as the Grizzlies look to make a statement. My model projects Bane to score 26.3 points tonight.
Kristaps Porzingis OVER 20.5 Points - I'll wrap things up with one final points prop, this time with Kristaps Porzingis. The Unicorn had himself a night in his Celtics debut, setting the record for the most points scored in a debut with 30. He's scored at least 21 points in 73% of his last 30 games (average 24.8) and 65% of his last 65 games dating back to 2022 (avg. 23.2). Sure, the usage will have to drop simply by playing on the same team as Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, but I'll back Porzingis to get the Boston fans excited with another solid game tonight. My model projects Porzingis to score 22.41 points in this one.
