Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid suffered an undisclosed injury in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Jets. He had assists on both Edmonton goals but missed the final 4:20 of the third period and overtime. Oilers head coach Jay Woodcroft said postgame that it looked like a muscular injury to him. The ailment doesn't appear to be serious, but even if it's a muscle strain, McDavid will still have to sit out some action. We should know more about his injury prior to Tuesday's meeting with the Wild. The Oilers captain has started the season with a five-game scoring streak, netting two goals and delivering six assists.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
