Mid-Week Waiver Wire Rankings: Michael King, Junior Caminero, Willi Castro, J.P. Crawford, Evan Carter, Kris Bryant, more

Michael King - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury News

Mid-week fantasy baseball waiver wire rankings for Week 27 (2023). Free agent hitters and pitchers to add include Michael King, Junior Caminero, Kris Bryant, Evan Carter, and J.P. Crawford.

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to the final edition of our mid-week fantasy baseball waiver wire rankings list for Week 27 - September 25 through October 1  to help you stay on top of the waiver wire, especially in leagues that allow daily moves. The Rays promoted top prospect Junior Caminero on Thursday. At the same time, other top prospects such as Jackson Holliday, Colt Keith, Coby Mayo, Matt Mervis, and Robert Gasser patiently await the call to the big leagues.

Some notable recent performances include New York Yankees right-hander Michael King. The 28-year-old allowed one run on five hits and no walks while striking out 13 batters over seven innings in Wednesday's start against the Blue Jays. King owns a 1.62 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, and a 30:2 K: BB over his last three starts.

Injuries are piling up as the St. Louis Cardinals catcher Willson Contreras (wrist) was placed on the 10-day injured list and is out for the rest of the season. Detroit Tigers outfielder Riley Green (elbow) underwent Tommy John surgery but is expected to be ready for the start of next season.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

This week's waiver wire rankings feature players such as Michael King, Willi Castro, Anthony Volpe, Julian Merryweather, Zack Gelof, J.P. Crawford, Heston Kjerstad, Ryan O'Hearn, Ryan Pepiot, and Kris Bryant rank, among others. We're here, as always, to help you stay on top of the latest waiver wire options, especially in leagues that allow for daily moves. Prospects that are making impacts continue to be called up, so you'll need to be informed. Be sure to stay on top of our weekly waiver wire rankings and turn on MLB news alerts to stay ahead of the curve. Once you're done here, check out our fantasy baseball prospects articles for the latest names to stash and pick up.

Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups List

For anyone who isn't familiar, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, we release all sorts of fantasy baseball waiver wire articles. As part of that, Nick Mariano releases our waiver wire rankings list on Sundays to help you prioritize which players to target as free agent adds off waivers.

In addition to that, we are also putting out a second waiver wire rankings list mid-week. Since many fantasy baseball leagues have daily waiver wire moves or multiple waiver wire runs per week for adding players, this mid-week rankings list should help you keep track of players emerging in the middle of the week before we reach Sunday.

Below, you will see our list of waiver wire pickups in our prioritized order. There should be waiver wire recommendations here for all sorts of league sizes, along with the position(s) for the player and the rostered percentages.
