Padres Linked To Eduardo Rodriguez
Eduardo Rodriguez is generating interest from the San Diego Padres, according to Mark Feinsand of MLB.com. The Friars already acquired veteran hurler Rich Hill this morning, but with San Diego fourth in the NL West and 5.0 games out of a Wild Card spot, perhaps a more drastic addition could be coming. Rodriguez, 30, has impressed through 15 starts this season, amassing a 2.95 ERA, 3.17 FIP, 9.27 K/9, and 2.14 BB/9. The southpaw has done a decent job limiting loud contact, inducing a 40.5 GB% and 9.1 HR/FB%. Regardless of where he ends up, Rodriguez should remain rostered in most fantasy baseball leagues.
