J.J. Spaun will be a popular fantasy option at the 3M Open on the heels of a T10 finish at last week's Barracuda Championship. He gained over 15.31 strokes ball-striking in that event, which was the best ball-striking performance of his career by almost five strokes. Hidden in that performance was the fact that he lost close to six strokes putting, marking his ninth straight event losing strokes on the greens. Spaun ranks almost dead-last in putting on bent grass and birdie-or-better percentage over the last 36 rounds, which are both statistics that will make him tough to trust in a potential birdie-fest. Combined with the fact that he's never finished better than T66 in his previous three starts here, fantasy managers should have major hesitations about rostering Spaun this week.--Ryan Hickey
