The Ottawa Senators have signed goaltender Joonas Korpisalo to a five-year, $20 million contract. The Finnish netminder will be representing his third team in a short space of time after splitting the 2022-23 season between Columbus and Los Angeles. Korpisalo had a good campaign with an 18-14-3 record, allowing 2.87 goals per game with a .914 save percentage and one shutout. He managed a 2.13 goals-against average with a .921 save percentage after joining the Kings. The 29-year-old has proven himself as a solid goalie in the league, but he will also need a good defense in front of him to make fantasy managers happy, and it remains to be seen if the Senators can improve from their recent level in 2023-24. It's been eight seasons since the last time the team scored more goals than it allowed.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerRead More News
