MLB Pitcher Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Kodai Senga OVER 5.5K (-132, FD) vs. CHC
I'll start things off with Kodai Senga's over on his strikeout prop. The 30-year-old righty brings a 29.4% strikeout rate into this one. He's been striking out hitters at a higher clip as the season goes on, striking out 32.3% of hitters in the last 30 days and 41.3% of hitters over the last two weeks. Similarly, the Cubs have been striking out at a higher clip of late, at a 29.5% rate relative to their 23.4% across the entire season. I project Senga to a 32.99% strikeout rate in this one and ____
Graham Ashcraft UNDER 4.5K (-140, DK) vs. STL
I'll go back to Graham Ashcraft's under on his strikeout prop here. He brings in a 17% strikeout rate across the course of the season, which has dropped down to just 11.8% across the last two weeks. He projects to a 12.89% strikeout rate in this matchup against the Cardinals today, who have hung around a 21% strikeout rate all season. My model projects Ashcraft to just 2.85 strikeouts in this one, with a ceiling of 3.46 punchies against his division rival.

MLB Hitter Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Jorge Soler OVER 1.5 TB (-155, FD) vs. COL
I'll start things off in terms of hitters with Jorge Soler. Soler is slashing .247/.324/.518 on the young season, with a .357 wOBA and 127 wRC+. He's been MASHING lefties this season, with a .602 wOBA and 56.5% (!!!) hard contact rate against southpaws on the season. Somehow, he's been even better in the last week, bringing in a .902 wOBA and 66.7% hard contact rate. He'll take on Austin Gomber, who projects to a 4.80 SIERA, and Soler himself projects to 3.37 total bases in this one.
Bryce Harper OVER 1.5 TB (-120, DK) vs. ARI
I'll wrap things up with Bryce Harper here, who will take on Ryne Nelson and the Diamondbacks this evening. Harper has been crushing righties, with a .571 wOBA in 2023 and a .661 wOBA across the last week. Like Soler, Harper's hard contact has been popping, at 47.8% in 2023 and 62.5% over the last seven days against right-handed pitching. Nelson projects to a not-so-great 4.70 SIERA, and Harper projects to 3.03 total bases tonight.
