San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Alex Wood (hamstring) was able to throw a successful bullpen session on Saturday. Now, the left-hander is scheduled to throw a simulated game on Tuesday. He continues to work his way back from a left hamstring strain that sidelined him earlier this month. If everything goes well on Tuesday, the 32-year-old should head out on a rehab assignment. The expectation is that Wood will be able to return to the Giants rotation in mid-May.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
