Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Frederik Andersen stopped 33 of 34 shots as the team beat the Islanders 2-1 in overtime Friday to advance to the next round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Andersen made his first appearance in the 2023 postseason after battling an illness and an undisclosed injury at the start of the first-round series. Antti Raanta did a good job as Andersen's replacement, but the change in goal worked out great for Carolina as the Islanders struggled to figure out how to score against Andersen. The Danish netminder is now 28-23 for his playoff career with a 2.52 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
