DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks for 2/25/23 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

CBB DFS lineup picks DraftKings NCAA daily college fantasy basketball

Today's DraftKings college basketball DFS lineup picks for 2/25/23. Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice and lineup sleepers to help you win on DraftKings.

We have another dozen games going on in our college basketball slates on DraftKings today. It's an all-day extravaganza on DraftKings with loaded afternoon and evening slates as well. We will concentrate on the early ones here. It's a busy day in Iowa with Michigan State heading to Iowa City and Oklahoma heading to Ames. UConn heads to the city to take on St. John's. Villanova hosts Creighton in Philly. We have Clemson heading up to Raleigh to take on the Pack. TCU heads to Lubbock to take on Tech to finish off the nooners.

An hour later, Georgia hosts Missouri for the only tip in that window. 2 pm brings us the Hogs in Tuscaloosa to take on the Tide. We have the Territory Cup basketball style in Tucson. K-State heads to Stillwater to take on the Pokes. Texas heads up I-35 to take on the Bears in Waco. We close this out with a 3:30 tip in StarkVegas with the Aggies in town. This is going to be another fun-filled Saturday!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/25/23, starting at noon Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Markquis Nowell, Kansas State ($9,100)

Nowell was held scoreless in the first half against Baylor and only made two shots from the floor, yet he still racked up 37 DraftKings points in the win over Baylor. That's the kind of floor I want at this price. His peripherals are so strong that the points are just a bonus. Nowell scored 20 actual points against the Pokes in the first meeting and put up 41.25 DraftKings points. He should be close to that output again.

Wade Taylor IV, Texas A&M ($8,000)

Taylor had a bit of a pedestrian start to the season, but he has at least 32 DraftKings points in five straight games. The Aggies have surged into the NCAA Tournament talk and I heard a commentator call Taylor the best point guard in the SEC. I thought he was just being facetious, but that might not be the case. Taylor is a high-volume scorer that knows how to get to the line and he has still managed his season average of four assists in five of the last six games. He's the reason the Aggies have taken off. Expect his output to stay this high.

Justin Moore, Villanova ($6,600)

I'm not one to chase a ceiling game. I want to see a bit of a pattern of success before I take the plunge. With Moore it's a bit different. We know what he is capable of. He has shown us dozens of times over the last three years. His big game in the upset of Xavier on Tuesday reminded us – and the Villanova fans – what they have been missing this year. Moore hit 10-of-13 shots en route to 25 points. He has scored 57 points over the last three games and is starting to get his assist numbers back up as well. Nova needs to go on a run through the rest of the Big East season to get an invite back to the tournament and Moore will play a huge part in that. I'm along for the ride while he's still this cheap.

Milos Uzan, Oklahoma ($4,800)

The freshman has shown enough flashes of brilliance that I like running him in GPP's at this price. Oklahoma often struggles for long stretches on offense, but Uzan has helped make sure that the stretches aren't as long and desolate. He has scored in double figures in five of seven games since joining the starting lineup. The peripheral numbers are starting to increase now that he is playing nearly the whole game of late. There's good potential for this price point.

Also consider: Jarkel Joiner, North Carolina State ($8,900); Anthony Black, Arkansas ($8,000); Chase Hunter, Clemson ($7,300); D'Moi Hodge, Missouri ($7,100); Posh Alexander, St. John's ($6,600); Nick Smith, Arkansas ($5,400); Kario Oquendo, Georgia ($5,200); Jaden Bradley, Alabama ($4,600); Joe Bamisile, Oklahoma ($3,900); Tre Gomillion, Missouri ($3,300)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Joel Soriano, St. John's ($8,600)

Here's a little pop quiz: who leads the NCAA in double-doubles on the season? Tshiebwe comes to mind, but he only has 15 in 26 games. Bacot? He has 18 in 27 contests. Zach Edey? Correct, but Soriano is tied with him. Both Edey and Soriano have notched 21 double-doubles on the season. That's free bonus points on DraftKings! Soriano has at least 30 DraftKings points in five straight and racked up a big double-double (19 points, 13 rebounds) in the first meeting with UConn. He may not be the most famous name amongst the forwards, but he is the most likely to hit value for us.

Fardaws Aimaq, Texas Tech ($7,100)

The Utah Valley transfer missed a large chunk of the season thanks to a foot injury, but the surge of the Red Raiders has corresponded with Aimaq's return to the lineup. The Red Raiders have won four straight games in the toughest conference in the country thanks to Aimaq's back-to-back double-doubles. He has 96 DraftKings points over the last three games and should be a force against TCU as well. He feels underpriced for the havoc he has been causing lately.

Jalen Hill, Oklahoma ($6,300)

This may just be wishful thinking from a fan that knows that Oklahoma needs to win out to even have a prayer of getting it, but it's not without merit. Hill, long regarded as one of the best defenders in a league full of them, has added some offense to his game. He has scored in double figures in four straight games along with his outstanding peripheral numbers. He hasn't been below 25 DraftKings points in that span against teams like Texas, Kansas, and Kansas State. It might finally be safe to trust Hill again.

Jonathan Tchamwa-Tchatchoua, Baylor ($5,100)

If you think his surname is a handful, you should try guarding the guy. K-State found out the hard way that JTT still has tremendous upside on the other side of his year off recovering from a devastating knee injury. He racked up 32.5 DraftKings points, posting a double-double in just 24 minutes of court time. JTT seems to be capped at about 25 minutes still, but as we saw he can still do plenty of damage in that time and at this price.

Also consider: Brandon Miller, Alabama ($9,300); Hunter Tyson, Clemson ($8,400); Cameron Matthews, Mississippi State ($6,700); Makhi Mitchell, Arkansas ($6,400); Braelen Bridges, Georgia ($5,600); Julius Marble, Texas A&M ($5,300); Eddie Lampkin, TCU ($4,400); Tre King, Iowa State ($3,800); Ismael Massoud, Kansas State ($3,100)
