DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks for 2/18/23 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

Oscar Tshiebwe daily college fantasy basketball CFB DFS picks March Madness

Today's DraftKings college basketball DFS lineup picks for 2/18/23. Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice and lineup sleepers to help you win on DraftKings.

We have 12 games today in the main DraftKings tournament, but it's a loaded Saturday with the NBA on hiatus. We have several nooners today including the border war in Bloomington between Indiana and Illinois. Wisconsin hosts a ranked Rutgers squad. The Hall heads to Hartford to take on UConn. BC heads down to Tallahassee for some sun. The Irish head to Blacksburg to take on the Hoos. Texas Tech heads for the mountains to take on West Virginia.

The first afternoon tip features Tennessee heading down I-75 to Lexington and Rupp Arena. We close it out with a plethora of 2 pm tips. Florida is in Fayetteville to take on the Hogs. Iowa State heads to the Little Apple to take on K-State. The Pokes are in Fort Worth to take on the Toadies. Wake heads down to Miami for a taste of spring. And we have the Red River Rivalry in Austin with the Sooners in town. This is going to be a good one!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/18/23, starting at noon Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Kadary Richmond, Seton Hall ($8,800)

I'm not enamored with the upper guards today, but what Richmond did in the first meeting with UConn can't be ignored. He posted a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds en route to 38.5 DraftKings points. Richmond hasn't been in single digits in scoring since January 14 and has been piling up the peripherals of late. He feels safer than most upper-tier guards today.

Anthony Black, Arkansas ($7,900)

Despite going cold from the field against the Aggies, Black still put up 27.75 DraftKings points thanks to the great peripheral numbers he is putting up of late. I would like to see the shot volume up where it was, but that could have been a product of both cold shooting and foul trouble. I like using guys that aren't dependent on scoring to get their numbers and Black certainly fits that bill. He has 12 rebounds, 18 assists, and ten steals over the last three games alone!

John-Michael Wright, Oklahoma State ($5,300)

Wright has stepped up big since Avery Anderson went down. He has at least 24 DraftKings points in three of the last four games thanks in part to his efficient shooting. He is a decent rebounder and will pick up a steal or three here and there, but he's still mostly reliant on scoring. I'm usually not crazy about those types, but Wright is playing at least 36 minutes per game. He can't help but score enough points to hit value at this price.

Otega Oweh, Oklahoma ($4,300)

Oweh's minutes have gradually increased even since his first inclusion into the starting lineup against West Virginia earlier this month. The Sooners have been largely a disaster in February, but not Oweh. He has at least 15 DraftKings points in five straight games. He's not going to break a slate, but he's a value play with decent upside that shouldn't hurt you given his status as a starter. I can live with that.

Also consider: Markquis Nowell, Kansas State ($9,300); Damion Baugh, TCU ($8,500); Jordan Miller, Miami ($8,000); Grant Sherfield, Oklahoma ($7,600); Caleb McConnell, Rutgers ($7,100); Connor Essegian, Wisconsin ($6,200); Sir'Jabari Rice, Texas ($5,600); Kyle Lofton, Florida ($5,400); Femi Odukale, Seton Hall ($4,800); Milos Uzan, Oklahoma ($4,100); Kowacie Reeves, Florida ($4,000)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Trayce Jackson-Davis, Indiana ($11,500)

TJD has been the best player in college basketball for around two months now. Only Penn State has held him under 45 DraftKings points in a game since Christmas. He ravaged Illinois for 58 DraftKings points in the first meeting. Considering that he has topped 50 in four of the last five games, I wouldn't be a bit shocked if he does it again. TJD is the best DFS player in college basketball. He might even be the best overall! Just pay the price and mine for value.

Kalib Boone, Oklahoma State ($7,600)

Boone has exploded since Anderson went down and with Moussa Cisse still relegated to bench duty. He has at least 25 DraftKings points in seven straight games, even going over 40 against Kansas in that span. One of those games in that stretch was the first meeting with TCU in which Boone racked up 39 DraftKings points. He might not be that efficient from the field again, but the Toadies obviously had no answer for him on the interior. Boone could be in for another big game here.

Aundre Hyatt, Rutgers ($6,100)

Hyatt set a new season best in points in the loss on Tuesday, but we don't care about that for DFS. We just care that Hyatt is stacking up numbers since Mawot Mag went down. He has 72 DraftKings points in the three games since Mag went down and has increased his output in each one. He may not top the 30.75 that he had against Nebraska in this one, but he should still hang around the mid-20s. That a nice return for the price.

Aljaz Kunc, Iowa State ($5,900)

Boy, did the Cyclones miss Kunc. He went down for ten games with a finger injury in the middle of the conference schedule and was relegated to coming off the bench in his first three games back. Now Kunc has started the last two games and piled up 58 DraftKings points in those two games. As per usual, DraftKings is a little slow in adjusting the price. To put this in perspective, Kunc was more expensive in his first game back (against Kansas, no less) than he is now. He's a great value while he's still this affordable.

Also consider: Oscar Tshiebwe, Kentucky ($9,800); Keyontae Johnson, Kansas State ($8,300); Steven Crowl, Wisconsin ($7,700); Nae'Qwan Tomlin, Kansas State ($6,900); Ben Vander Plas, Virginia ($6,000); Emmitt Matthews, West Virginia ($5,600); Ven-Allen Lubin, Notre Dame ($4,900); Ty Rodgers, Illinois ($4,300); Abayomi Iyiola, Kansas State ($3,300)
