St. Louis Blues right wing Vladimir Tarasenko had to make an early exit against Minnesota on Saturday, playing only 4:18. He was forced off by an apparent right-hand injury which Tarasenko sustained by blocking a shot with it. The Russian sniper was back from a one-game absence after missing Thursday's meeting with Chicago, and he could be heading back to the shelf now ahead of a four-game road trip. Tarasenko has totaled 10 goals and 19 assists in 34 appearances this season, sitting third on the team's scoring list. Ivan Barbashev took his spot on Thursday and could get more action again in a bigger role if Tarasenko needs time to recover from the hand issue.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
