Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey completed Sunday's 3-2 loss to Seattle with two assists, setting a franchise record for the longest point streak by a defenseman. With his ninth consecutive outing with at least one point, Morrissey broke a tie with Dustin Byfuglien and Toby Enstrom. His run includes 11 points in total and it's pushed Morrissey to 36 points for the season. Only Erik Karlsson (41) and Rasmus Dahlin (37) have done more scoring among blue-liners this season. Morrissey set a new career high with 37 points only last season, so it's been a huge improvement from the 27-year-old.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
