ANALYSIS: After a strong 2021, Mike Gesicki has underwhelmed with his 2022 production.
After posting back-to-back seasons with over 700 receiving yards, Gesicki is currently on pace to fall well short of that mark. Through Week 13, the Dolphins TE has logged just 269 receiving yards on 24 receptions.
Gesicki's production has been stunted by both the addition of Tyreek Hill to the Miami receiving corps and new HC Mike McDaniel's scheme that requires heavy tight-end blocking participation.
The Penn State alum's numbers have left fantasy managers high and dry on numerous occasions this season, but the overall weakness of the TE position continues to keep him in the fantasy conversation.
With multiple teams on byes in Week 14, Gesicki is a streaming option at the always-brutal TE spot. Fantasy GMs in desperate need of help can consider the athletically-talented pass catcher that has scored four TDs this season and still possesses underlying upside.
