New York Rangers defenseman Adam Fox missed Sunday's practice session with an illness. He is now in danger of missing his first game of the season if Fox doesn't better by Monday when the Rangers host the red-hot Devils. This would be a very bad blow for the team, as Fox's running mate Ryan Lindgren (upper body) is already questionable for the game after getting hurt Friday versus Edmonton. Fox collected his 24th point of the campaign Friday, which puts him behind only Erik Karlsson (30) on the defensemen scoring list. He logs nearly 25 minutes per game and his absence would clearly leave a huge gap on the Rangers blue line. Jacob Trouba will be asked to do more if Fox isn't available, and everybody at back will need to step up if Lindgren can't go either Monday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
