Florida Panthers center Aleksander Barkov (illness) looks set to return to the lineup Saturday versus Calgary. He was a late scratch for Thursday's matchup against Dallas with a non-COVID illness, but according to head coach Paul Maurice, the Panthers captain is feeling much better now and the team is "optimistic" about getting Barkov back for Saturday. Florida definitely missed Barkov's two-way game in Thursday's 6-4 loss. He's among one of the best all-around forwards in the league and has started the year with four goals and 14 points in 16 games. Veteran Eric Staal was able to reminisce on the old days of being a first-line center Thursday, but he'll head back to the fourth when Barkov is back.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
