Tennessee Titans - NFL Betting Analysis

Tennessee will be looking to add another win to their resume, as they picked up a divsion win over the Indianapolis Colts. The Titans won by a margin of 24-17. Going into last week's matchup, Tennessee was 4.0 point underdogs on the spread. The two teams combined point total of 41 remained below the betting line of 43. Despite being the 4.0 point underdogs heading into the game, the Titans held a 7 point lead heading into the 4th quarter. Through 4 games, the Titans have an ATS record of 2-2. So far, they have an over-under record of 2-2. This week's betting total of 42.5 is slightly lower than the line in their previous games.

As the Titans prepare to take on Washington, they are ranked 22nd in points per game at 18.75. Look for the team to put together a strong offensive performance vs a Commanders defense giving up 26 points per game. Although the Titans come into the game ranked just 27th in pass yards per game, they will benefit from facing a Washington secondary that is vulnerable through the air. We expect Tennessee to have an above average performance in the passing attack. On the ground, our projections show that the Titans' offense will have its problems. Even though they have a decent matchup against Washington, look for Tennessee to come up with fewer rush yards than their season average of 102.25.

Washington Commanders - NFL Betting Analysis

In week 4, the Washington Commanders dropped their NFC East matchup against the Cowboys by a score of 25-10. Washington lost the game by more than anticipated, as the oddsmakers placed Washington as 3.0 point underdogs. With an over-under betting line of 41, the two teams fell below that figure as they combined for 35. The Commanders were not able to make a comeback in last week's game, as they trailed Dallas by a score of 15-10 heading into the final quarter. Through 4 games, the Commanders have an ATS record of 1-3. So far, they have an over-under record of 2-2. This week's betting total of 42.5 is slightly lower than the line in their previous games.

Heading into this week's matchup, the Commanders' offense is averaging 18.25 points per game, placing them 26th in the NFL. Look for the team to put together a strong offensive performance vs a Titans defense giving up 23 points per game. Although the Commanders come into the game ranked just 17th in pass yards per game, they will benefit from facing a Tennessee secondary that is vulnerable through the air. We expect Washington to have an above average performance in the passing attack. On the ground, our projections show that the Commanders offense will have its problems. Even though they have a decent matchup against Tennessee, look for Washington to come up with fewer rush yards than their season average of 100.5.

Today's NFL Betting Pick - Titans vs. Commanders

Looking back at the recent matchups between Tennessee and Washington, the Commanders have taken 2 of the last 3 contests. The over-under record in these games sits at 1-2, with the average scoring total coming in at 37.33 points. Tennessee and Washington did not play each other in the 2021-2022 regular season.

The Washington Commanders have gone 2-1 vs the spread in these games. On average, the Titans have averaged 19.33 points per game in the past 3 head-to-head matchups, compared to Washington at 18.0.

Over their last 3 regular season games, the Titans have gone 2-1 straight up. In these games, they have a 2-1 record vs the spread and an over-under mark of 2-1.

Tennessee has played well in their previous 3 road games, going 2-1 straight up. In this stretch, they averaged 19.67 points per game while allowing 27.67. The team also performed well vs the spread at 1-2.

Across their previous 3 regular season games, the Commanders have a straight up record of just 0-3. In a similar fashion, the team's record vs the spread in these games was just 0-3. Their over-under record in this span was 1-2.

Although Washington has a straight up record of 1-2 in their last 3 home games, they have not held up as well vs the spread going 2-1. The team averaged 17.33 points per game in these games.

Recommended ATS Betting Pick: Titans -2.5

Recommended OU Betting Pick: Over 42.5
