Tony Gonsolin Takes All-Star Game Loss
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Tony Gonsolin did not have the outing he was hoping for in his home ballpark during Tuesday's 3-2 All-Star Game loss to the American League. Gonsolin allowed all three of the AL's runs in the fourth inning on four hits (including back-to-back home runs) with a strikeout. Despite this, Gonsolin's inclusion in the All-Star Game is a testament to how well he has pitched this season. The 28-year-old has finally gotten a routine spot in the rotation and has gone 11-0 with a 2.02 ERA, 0.84 WHIP, and 24.2% strikeout rate over 17 starts. He has been a fantasy All-Star so far and hopefully will continue to be one in the second half as well.
