Los Angeles Angels outfielder Taylor Ward (hamstring, neck) is healing nicely, while third baseman Anthony Rendon (wrist) has been hitting in the batting cages and taking ground balls. Ward's neck/shoulder still isn't 100%, but he feels no pain and can play through it. The 28-year-old is targeting a return from the injured list when he's first eligible next Tuesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Angels could really use Ward back, especially with All-Star outfielder Mike Trout (groin) missing some games this week. Ward has been an everyday fantasy starter in 2021, hitting .333/.443/.644 with a 1.087 OPS, 10 home runs and 26 RBI. Rendon went on the IL on May 27 with right wrist inflammation, and there remains no timetable for his return.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
