WNBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks (5/26/24): WNBA DFS Advice for DraftKings, FanDuel

WNBA dfs lineup picks daily fantasy basketball stock

Justin Carter's top daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for 5/26/24. Expert WNBA DFS advice for DraftKings and FanDuel.

After a busy Saturday of WNBA action that saw 10 of the league's 12 teams in action, things get a little more calm on Sunday with a two-game slate. The Lynx visit the Atlanta Dream in the first game of the night, followed by the Sparks playing host to the Wings.

Saturday saw two surprising results as the Lynx dominated the New York Liberty, winning 84-67. Then later in the evening, the Dallas Wings, despite a number of key injuries, took down the Mercury 107-92. The night also saw the Storm completely dominate against the Mystics, winning 101-69 in that one.

In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel. These lineup picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. The slate locks on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. EDT. Want to talk more about the WNBA? I'm always available on X and always down to discuss women's basketball: @juscarts.

WNBA DFS Picks: Forward

Napheesa Collier (Minnesota Lynx) at ATL (DK: $11.5K, FD: $9.0K)

It's been a great start to the season for Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier, who is averaging 23.8 points and 11.0 rebounds per game to go along with 3.3 assists, 3.3 steals, and 2.0 blocks per contest. She's one of the early frontrunners for the MVP award. Will 2024 be the year we get the MVPhee?

On Saturday, Collier scored her fewest points of the season, putting up 15 of them in a 17-point win over the New York Liberty. She also added 12 rebounds, four assists, two steals, and two blocks in the victory. Even with Collier's shot not falling as well as it was in the first three games, her overall contributions showed why she has one of the highest floors in DFS.

Dearica Hamby (Los Angeles Sparks) vs. DAL (DK: $10.6K, FD: $8.4K)

Los Angeles Sparks forward Dearica Hamby is in her 10th season in the WNBA and is currently looking better than she's ever looked before. Hamby, who has never averaged more than 13.0 points per game, is currently posting an average of 21.0 points and 13.3 rebounds per night. The Sparks don't have a lot of scoring threats right now as the team shifted into a rebuilding mode this year, so they've had to rely on Hamby. Luckily for Los Angeles, Hamby appears to be up to the task.

On Friday in a loss to the Indiana Fever, Hamby had 18 points and 12 rebounds, giving her three double-doubles through the first four games of the 2024 season. Now she faces a Wings team missing its best interior defender. I expect another huge game from Hamby in this one.

Dorka Juhasz (Minnesota Lynx) at ATL (DK: $4.2K, FD: $4.3K)

She's back! Dorka Juhasz missed the start of the season because of overseas commitments but made her season debut against the Liberty on Saturday. She was eased back into action, playing 17 minutes and finishing with four points, four rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block.

With Diamond Miller out, I'd expect to see Dorka Juhasz playing solid minutes going forward. Last season, she started 27 games for the Lynx, averaging 24.2 minutes per contest, posting 6.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.6 blocks.

WNBA DFS Picks: Guard

Arike Ogunbowale (Dallas Wings) at LA (DK: $10.3K, FD: $8.6K)

Arike Ogunbowale is off to the best start of her WNBA career, scoring 31.0 points per game while adding in 4.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 3.0 steals per game. The Wings needed her to step up because of injuries to Satou Sabally and Natasha Howard. So far, she's responded to that in a big way.

On Saturday, Ogunbowale took 20-plus field goal attempts for the fourth game in a row, knocking down 11 shots. She was 7-for-12 from three, scoring 40 points and also adding seven rebounds, four assists, and four steals in the team's 15-point win over the Phoenix Mercury. Ogunbowale has scored 24 or more points in every game this season.

Lexie Brown (Los Angeles Sparks) vs. DAL (DK: $6.9K, FD: $5.8K)

While her shot's been a bit off this year, Lexie Brown is averaging a career-high 12.0 field goal attempts per contest in 36.0 minutes per night. The Sparks have a severe lack of backcourt depth, so Brown is essentially playing as many minutes as possible to make up for that. Right now, she's averaging 12.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.

Brown had a season-low five points last game, but she still took 10 shots in that game. If she had done a little better than 0-for-5 from three, we'd be talking about her performance differently, and the Sparks might have managed to beat the Fever. She'll look to bounce back against the Wings on Sunday.

Natisha Hiedeman (Minnesota Lynx) at ATL (DK: $5.4K, FD: $4.4K)

After spending the first five seasons of her WNBA career in Connecticut, Natisha Hiedeman made the move to Minnesota this offseason. Her role looks different than it did with the Sun, but she's providing solid contributions off the bench after starting all 40 games in 2023. Hiedeman is averaging 5.8 points, 4.3 assists, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per night.

Last time out, Hiedeman took a season-high seven field goal attempts and a season-high four three-point attempts. She finished with five points, four assists, three rebounds, one steal, and one block. Her numbers can be hit or miss, but I like the value here.
