Dynasty Fantasy Football Trade Outlooks

Below are some fantasy football outlooks and news written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider trading for or trading away in dynasty leagues.

Tucker Kraft, TE, Packers
Position Ranking: TE5
Trade Value: 49 (in TEP), 33 (in standard)

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft (knee) said on Monday that he's targeting a Week 1 return for the start of the 2026 season this fall, according to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic. "By the time Week 1 rolls around, I'll be 10 months post-surgery and hopefully bulletproofed by then. I already feel pretty good. My progress so far has been great. Some would say even ahead of schedule," Kraft said.

The 25-year-old tore his ACL in the Week 9 loss to the Carolina Panthers. Before the season-ending injury, Kraft was well on his way to a breakout campaign in his third year in the league, as he caught 32 of his 44 targets for 489 yards and six touchdowns in eight starts. In 2024, he had a 50-707-7 line in 17 regular-season games. Kraft's 2026 fantasy value will mainly be tied to whether he's ready for the season opener, and if he is, he should be considered a strong TE1 target.

Verdict: Buy low on Kraft after injury-lost season

Malik Nabers, WR, Giants
Position Ranking: WR6
Trade Value: 75

New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers (knee) told reporters he is "not really sure" if he will be ready for Week 1 of the 2026 season and that he had "a lot messed up" in his injured knee, per SNY's Connor Hughes. Nabers suffered a torn ACL and a torn meniscus in his right knee in late September, ending his 2025 season. However, swelling in the knee was severe enough that he did not undergo surgery until late October. Hughes reports that Nabers was spotted walking with the assistance of a cane on Sunday.

When healthy, Nabers has been one of the most dynamic wide receivers in the NFL. Across 19 career games played, he's hauled in 127 receptions for 1,475 yards and nine touchdowns on 205 targets. It's not a great sign that the first few months of Nabers' recovery appear to be limited, but he still obviously has time to get healthy before 2026 training camp begins. Nabers' health will be a storyline for fantasy managers to closely monitor over the course of the offseason.

Verdict: Buy as a clear top-five WR option

Rashee Rice, WR, Chiefs
Position Ranking: WR10
Trade Value: 63

The Kansas City Chiefs have issued a statement regarding domestic allegations against wide receiver Rashee Rice, which came up because his former girlfriend had posted pictures on social media. "The club is aware of the allegations on social media and is in communication with the National Football League. We have no further comment at this time", David K. Li of NBC News reports. These allegations could result in a second significant off-field suspension for Rice, who was already suspended six games during the 2025 season following a hit-and-run incident in April of 2024.

This is not the first time Rice's behavior has resulted in a potential suspension. Dynasty managers will want to keep tabs on this situation to know whether or not they will be without the Chiefs' No. 1 wide receiver at any point in the 2026 season. Rice racked up 571 receiving yards (10.77 YPC) on 53 receptions and five touchdowns during the 2025 season, in which he played in eight games.

Verdict: Hold for further information, consider buying as a risky upside play

J.J. McCarthy, QB, Vikings
Position Ranking: QB19
Trade Value: 44 (in Superflex), 18 (in 1-QB)

Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell said he wants a competitive situation at quarterback going into next season, according to Alec Lewis of The Athletic. O'Connell said McCarthy "is going to be a major emphasis," but "the competition in that room will only enhance the entire team." The Vikings want McCarthy to seize the starting job, but he's going to have to earn it and play better than he did in 2026, and the Vikings are fully expected to add to their QB room to push McCarthy this offseason.

The 22-year-old former first-round signal-caller missed his entire rookie season in 2024 due to a knee injury that required surgery. McCarthy missed time with multiple injuries in 2025 and struggled with turnovers and efficiency when he was on the field, completing 57.6% of his pass attempts for 1,632 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions in 10 starts. Fantasy managers will want to see improvement from the Michigan product before considering him as anything more than a low-end QB2 option with upside.

Verdict: Consider selling low, as McCarthy's job security is uncertain heading into 2026

Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Cardinals
Position Ranking: WR18
Trade Value: 53

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. said that he lost the majority of the weight he had put on this past offseason (10 pounds) while dealing with appendicitis late in the season, according to Tyler Drake of Arizona Sports. Harrison said he basically had two weeks of doing nothing before "jumping back into the fire." The 23-year-old former first-rounder missed Weeks 11 and 12 following an appendectomy. Harrison returned in Week 13 to catch six of seven targets for 69 yards, but he suffered a heel injury that sidelined him in Weeks 14 and 15.

He wasn't the same receiver to close out the year, catching just one of four targets for 14 yards in his final two games before suffering a new foot injury in Week 17 that cost him the regular-season finale. Harrison will now focus on getting healthy in the offseason before trying to bounce back in 2026 in his third year in the league. His fantasy arrow is pointing down after two straight disappointing seasons, especially now that Arizona could be searching for a new quarterback this offseason.

Verdict: Consider buying low after a rough sophomore showing

Who Should I Trade For?

Dynasty Trade Decisions. Today's focus is on specific players - Tucker Kraft, Malik Nabers, Emeka Egbuka, Ashton Jeanty, Marvin Harrison Jr., J.J. McCarthy, Justin Jefferson, Rashee Rice, Breece Hall, and A.J. Brown. These are some key fantasy football names heading into next season.

Using The Trade Values. These are simple trade value charts, but very powerful. In our fantasy football trade value rankings above, you will see the Trade Value for each player. The higher the number, the higher the priority for targeting in trades. Players with a high trade value number are players that you should be targeting more in trades.

How To Calculate Trades. Fantasy football managers will make 1-for-1 trades, or 2-for-3 trades, or 3-for-2 trades, or many other combinations. For each side of the deal, add the trade values together. Whichever side has a higher total number wins the trade. For example, if someone is offering you three players, add the trade values of those three players together. Does the value of those three players exceed the values of the player(s) you are trading away? If so then it's a good deal for you.
