Dynasty Fantasy Football Trade Outlooks

Below are some fantasy football outlooks and news written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider trading for or trading away in dynasty leagues.

Breece Hall, RB Jets
Position Ranking: RB13
Trade Value: 42

New York Jets general manager Darren Mougey said earlier this week that the team would like to re-sign running back Breece Hall, according to Antwan Staley of the New York Daily News. Mougey wouldn't go into specifics, though, on whether the Jets would consider using the franchise tag to retain Hall. In another bad season for the Jets, the 24-year-old was one of the few bright spots on offense. The former second-rounder posted his first career 1,000-yard rushing season on a career-high 243 carries while adding four rushing touchdowns.

Hall also had 36 catches on 48 targets for 350 yards and another score in 16 starts. He did not play in the Week 18 regular-season finale against the Buffalo Bills due to a knee injury, but he should be fine going into the 2026 campaign. Hall has proven that he can still be fantasy relevant in New York, but for fantasy purposes, his stock would most certainly improve if he were to leave town.

Verdict: Consider buying at a fair price. Hall should play in a better offense in 2026

Michael Wilson, WR, Cardinals
Position Ranking: WR46
Trade Value: 27

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Wilson caught five of his eight targets for 99 yards and one touchdown during Week 18's loss against the Los Angeles Rams. The highlight of his performance was a 43-yard touchdown in the third quarter that temporarily pulled Arizona within one possession. The Cardinals limped to a 3-14 record this season, but Wilson ended up being a league-winner in many fantasy leagues thanks to his incredibly strong second half of the campaign.

The 25-year-old eclipsed 1,000 yards for the first time in his career, and he ranked as the overall WR2 from Week 11 through the end of the season. On paper, Marvin Harrison Jr. might enter the 2026 season as Arizona's No. 1 receiver. However, based on track record, Wilson has made quite the case to be the Cardinals' top pass-catcher not named Trey McBride. Quarterback uncertainty creates some questions about Wilson's fantasy stock for next year, but there's no denying that he has top-12 upside heading into next summer's drafts.

Verdict: Consider selling high if he's on your roster. Buy at a fair price if not

Luther Burden, WR, Bears
Position Ranking: WR25
Trade Value: 40

Chicago Bears rookie wide receiver Luther Burden III hauled in three of seven targets for 42 yards in the 31-27 win over the Green Bay Packers. Despite the wild victory over the division-rival Packers, Burden struggled, posting his worst statistical game since Week 13 and stopping on a route that led to an interception.

The second-round pick has become a key part of the Bears' passing game, and he has an opportunity to explode in the Divisional Round. He faces a Los Angeles Rams defense that has allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to wide receivers this season and has struggled as of late, allowing big games to Amon-Ra St. BrownMichael Wilson, and Jalen Coker in the last six weeks. Burden is a high-ceiling option at the wide receiver position who could be a game-changer in what should be a high-scoring affair.

Verdict: Buy ahead of 2026 season before potential full breakout year

Chris Olave, WR, Saints
Position Ranking: WR26
Trade Value: 40

New Orleans Saints general manager Mickey Loomis said the team will discuss a contract extension for wide receiver Chris Olave this offseason, according to Erin Summers of NFL Network. "Chris is obviously an important player to us and had a really good season... had a couple of conversations with his agent, that will be part of this offseason," Loomis said. Olave didn't play in the Week 18 regular-season finale against the Atlanta Falcons due to a blood clot in his lung, but the 25-year-old former first-rounder should be ready to roll for the start of next season as the Saints' clear WR1.

Despite missing the last game of the year, Olave was money for fantasy managers in 2025, finishing as the WR6 in half-PPR scoring with 100 catches (156 targets) for 1,163 yards, and nine touchdowns in 16 games. It was a career year for Olave, and he'll be an early-round WR1 target in 2026 fantasy drafts, especially with rookie quarterback Tyler Shough showing plenty of promise in his first season.

Verdict: Buy high as Tyler Shough's locked-in WR1

Who Should I Trade For?

Dynasty Trade Decisions. Today's focus is on specific players - George Pickens, Michael Wilson, Kyle Pitts Sr., Chris Olave, Jonathan Taylor, Breece Hall, Luther Burden III, and Travis Kelce. These are some key fantasy football names heading into next season.

Using The Trade Values. These are simple trade value charts, but very powerful. In our fantasy football trade value rankings above, you will see the Trade Value for each player. The higher the number, the higher the priority for targeting in trades. Players with a high trade value number are players that you should be targeting more in trades.

How To Calculate Trades. Fantasy football managers will make 1-for-1 trades, or 2-for-3 trades, or 3-for-2 trades, or many other combinations. For each side of the deal, add the trade values together. Whichever side has a higher total number wins the trade. For example, if someone is offering you three players, add the trade values of those three players together. Does the value of those three players exceed the values of the player(s) you are trading away? If so then it's a good deal for you.
