When Is Logan Henderson Getting Called Up? Fantasy Baseball Prospect Outlook (Week 17 Update)

Logan Henderson - Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Rankings, MLB DFS, MLB Injuries

When is Logan Henderson getting called up? Will Henderson get promoted in July 2025? Read about this top fantasy baseball prospect outlook heading into Week 17.

Milwaukee Brewers right-handed pitching prospect Logan Henderson made his MLB debut earlier this season and immediately flashed elite upside. However, he was quickly sent back to Triple-A to preserve his innings.

With the second half about to kick off and the Brewers in the heat of the Wild Card race, will the Brewers look to promote one of their top prospects to strengthen their rotation?

Should fantasy managers continue to stash Henderson on their bench? When should fantasy managers expect him to get the call? Let's dive in!

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball draft tools and resources:

Logan Henderson Prospect Update for Fantasy Baseball

Earlier this season, Henderson made four starts for the Brewers. During these outings, the right-hander logged 21 innings ot the tune of a 1.71 ERA and a stellar 0.95 WHIP. During this stretch, the right-hander struck out 29 hitters and allowed only six walks.

Most of his damage came on the long ball as he allowed at least one home run in all but one start.

Despite his trouble keeping the ball out of the air, Henderson looked quite comfortable in the big leagues. However, with Brandon Woodruff back in action and Jacob Misiorowski emerging as the NL Rookie of the Year favorite, he may have to wait for an injury to return to the majors.

Logan Henderson Outlook for Fantasy Baseball

Since returning to Triple-A Nashville, Henderson has posted a 3.49 ERA with a 1.11 WHIP across 38 2/3 innings. His ratios were inflated by a one-blow-up, five-run outing. Removing this poor start, the right-hander would have only allowed more than two runs in a start once. He has also continued to show solid strikeout upside, tallying 40 strikeouts over these innings while serving up just nine walks.

However, as noted above, the Brewers have a full rotation and do not seem inclined to promote Henderson in the near future. As a result, he is only worth stashing in deeper 12+ team leagues as he will likely need to wait for an injury to enter the big leagues.

Fantasy managers in shallower formats should continue to leave Henderson on the waiver wire for the time being.
