When is Bubba Chandler getting called up? Will Chandler get promoted in June 2025? Read about this top fantasy baseball prospect outlook heading into Week 13.
Pittsburgh Pirates top prospect Bubba Chandler has been knocking on the major league door since the 2024 campaign. Through the first three months of the 2025 season, Chandler has continued to impress at Triple-A.
This season, fantasy managers have seen several pitching prospects make an immediate impact in the majors, such as Noah Cameron and Logan Henderson.
Should fantasy managers continue to stash Chandler on their bench? When should fantasy managers expect him to get the call? Let's dive in!
Bubba Chandler Prospect Update for Fantasy Baseball
After a few rough outings, the No. 2-ranked prospect in the sport bounced back in a big way on June 17. In this outing, the right-hander tossed four innings of two-run ball (one earned run) and allowed five hits and one walk. He struck out three.
Before this outing, Chandler logged just 2 2/3 innings over his last two starts and served up a hefty five walks and allowed four runs.
Seeing Chandler return to form relatively quickly is a very positive sign, suggesting he may not require further development at the top level of the minor leagues.

Bubba Chandler Outlook for Fantasy Baseball
Through 55 1/3 total innings with Triple-A Indianapolis this season, Chandler has posted a stellar 2.60 ERA with a 1.21 WHIP. During this stretch, the right-hander has struck out 73 batters and allowed 23 free passes. During his first taste of Triple-A last summer, Chandler enjoyed similar success, holding a 1.83 ERA with an impressive 1.04 WHIP.
Given his dominance at Triple-A, fantasy managers should expect Chandler to earn the call to the majors before the All-Star break.
Despite his brief slump, he remains a must-stash in all formats.
