Kipp's Week 15 NFL weather report for fantasy football (2025). He looks at NFL game weather forecasts to help make key fantasy football start/sit decisions.
Hello everyone, and welcome back to our Week 15 fantasy football weather report for the 2025 NFL season! The first few months of the season brought us very few weather concerns, but now that the winter months of December and January have arrived, it is time to ramp up this session again. I will be here every week through the Super Bowl to discuss the weather forecasts for every NFL game, where appropriate. This is an article that is near and dear to my heart, as I am always looking for a weather edge where I can find one.
We will rely on the most accurate and up-to-date weather forecasts for each stadium from AccuWeather, a source that provides comprehensive weather maps. Factors such as temperature, precipitation, wind speed/direction, and visibility can play a crucial role in shaping game outcomes and statistics.
Our goal with this article is to help you make informed decisions for your fantasy teams and other betting activities, enabling you to capitalize on opportunities or navigate the challenges posed by weather dynamics. Additionally, I hope to be able to update the article at least once each weekend before games kick off. Here is your comprehensive fantasy football weather report for Week 15 of the 2025 season.

Dome Games (No Weather Impact)
Some games in Week 15 will benefit from being played in domed stadiums, where the weather won't affect the outcome. These indoor venues provide a consistent environment.
- Arizona Cardinals @ Houston Texans (Sunday Early Slate)
- Carolina Panthers @ New Orleans Saints (Sunday Afternoon Slate)
- Detroit Lions @ Los Angeles Rams (Sunday Afternoon Slate)
- Minnesota Vikings @ Dallas Cowboys (Sunday Night Slate)
Minimal Weather Impact
These outdoor games in Week 15 don't appear to have very many weather concerns.
Atlanta Falcons @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Thursday Night Slate)
We have a matchup of two NFC South foes when the Falcons travel to Tampa, FL, to take on the Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium. While we had some weather to contend with in Tampa last week, this week should be much more pleasant.
Overall, AccuWeather notes that temperatures will be in the lower 50s under partly sunny skies. Additionally, sustained winds are expected to be around 7 mph, with gusts pushing 13 mph. Start your squad in this matchup.
New York Jets @ Jacksonville Jaguars (Sunday Early Slate)
Last week in Jacksonville, we saw plenty of rain, but this week looks to be pretty solid when the Jets travel to EverBank Stadium to take on the Jaguars.
Temperatures are expected to be in the lower 70s under mostly sunny skies. Additionally, sustained winds will be 6 mph, with gusts coming in at 12 mph. Beautiful weather overall in Jacksonville this Sunday.
Baltimore Ravens @ Cincinnati Bengals (Sunday Early Slate)
It is going to be very cold when the Ravens travel to take on the Bengals at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, OH. That being said, I do not see many issues in this game aside from temperatures being in the teens. Winds will be mild at 6 mph sustained and 12 mph gusts, and it will also be partly sunny out.
Las Vegas Raiders @ Philadelphia Eagles (Sunday Early Slate)
We have two teams going in different directions this season when the Raiders travel to take on the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA. Temperatures will be in the low 30s under partly cloudy skies. While we could see some snow, it is expected exclusively in the morning before the game.
Additionally, winds should not make a huge difference here, as sustained winds are expected to be around 6 mph, with gusts around 17 mph.
Washington Commanders @ New York Giants (Sunday Early Slate)
We have similar weather to the above in Philly when the Commanders travel to East Rutherford, NJ, to take on the Giants. While it will snow a little in the morning, it is not expected to impact the game. Temperatures will be in the mid-30s under cloudy skies. Additionally, wind gusts will only push 15 mph.
Tennessee Titans @ San Francsico 49ers (Sunday Afternoon Slate)
The Titans will travel to Santa Clara, CA, to take on the 49ers at Levi's Stadium in a game that should have pretty solid weather overall. Accuweather notes that temperatures will be in the lower 60s under partly sunny skies.
Winds will not be an issue, either, as gusts are only expected to be around 4 mph. Start your studs in this one.
Indianapolis Colts @ Seattle Seahawks (Sunday Afternoon Slate)
The wounded Colts will travel to the Great Pacific to take on the Seahawks at Lumen Field. Overall, temperatures will be in the mid-50s under mostly cloudy skies. Winds will be 8 mph, with gusts near 16 mph. This game does not have many concerns, overall.
Green Bay Packers @ Denver Broncos (Sunday Afternoon Slate)
We may have the best weather of the day when the Packers travel to Denver, CO, to take on the Broncos. Temperatures will be in the upper 50s under partly sunny skies. Additionally, there will be minimal wind to contend with, as sustained winds are expected to be just 2 mph, with gusts near 4 mph.
Moderate Weather Impact
Let's take a look at some games where the weather is not quite severe, but could still have a moderate impact on the game. The forecasts provide some information on what types of skill players might be worth being more cautious with.
Cleveland Browns @ Chicago Bears (Sunday Early Slate)
We have a fun matchup at Soldier Field in Chicago, IL, when the Browns travel to take on the Bears. While skies will be partly sunny for this one, we do have a bit of cold weather to contend with, as is to be expected this time of year in Chicago.
Temperatures will be in the single digits, which is certainly worth noting here. Winds will be mild, however, as sustained winds will come in close to 8 mph, with gusts around 14 mph. I would recommend streaming kickers outside of this game due to the freezing temperatures.
Buffalo Bills @ New England Patriots (Sunday Early Slate)
We have a huge AFC East matchup when the Bills travel to Foxboro, MA, on Sunday to take on the Patriots at Gillette Stadium. While I do not think we have many weather concerns for this one, it is worth noting that AccuWeather shows snow in the forecast before game time. If this changes and arrives during the game, we should get a tad more concerned.
That being said, temperatures are expected to be in the upper 20s under cloudy skies. Wind gusts could be pushing 24 mph, so kickers would not be advised in this game either, and I may also look to sit Keon Coleman in the deeper passing game.
Los Angeles Chargers @ Kansas City Chiefs (Sunday Early Slate)
While it will be cold when the Chargers travel to Arrowhead Stadium to take on the Chiefs, it will otherwise be relatively decent for this game on Sunday. Temperatures are expected to be in the upper 20s under partly sunny skies.
Additionally, winds will be somewhat mild, with sustained winds coming in at 7 mph and gusts around 17 mph. While the gusts could cause a kicking issue if one hits just right, I would not recommend sitting someone like Harrison Butker in this likely lower-scoring affair.
Miami Dolphins @ Pittsburgh Steelers (Monday Night Slate)
It is going to be very cold when the Dolphins travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers for Monday Night Football, as current temperatures are expected to be in the teens. We will also see some nasty precipitation, as AccuWeather shows that there will be sleet and freezing rain on Monday evening.
While wind gusts will only be around 13 mph, the freezing rain does not sound all that great for wide receivers. Additionally, the Dolphins have never performed well in temperatures below freezing. In fact, they had lost 11 straight games in temperatures below 40 degrees before last weebeforeagainst the Jets.
This is a spot where I would likely sit Tua Tagovailoa due to the inclement weather, as well as D.K. Metcalf.
Severe Weather Impact
There are currently no games scheduled in Week 15 with severe weather impacts or concerns.
